As the US and many other nations watched and worried about the build up of nuclear power of North Korea, that could have just been a plot and ploy of the North Korean leader Kim Jong, as he had his satellite dish tuned into HBO's hit show the Soprano's and he sat there with pen and note book in hand taking life lessons from Tony Soprano.

As the world worried about North Korea's nuclear build up, Kim Jong, according to the CIA build up a criminal empire worth 4.7 billion dollars, an empire worthy even of a "Soprano State" that even Tony himself would be proud of. A criminal empire that got into the illegal activities of opium and heroin trafficking, counterfeit cigarettes, forged US currency (sophisticated enough to evade detection by US banks) and bribery and payroll of government officials and members of diplomatic corps....

The North Korean Criminal Empire has gained footholds in Russia, Europe and across the US. Networks across the world are lining up for the distribution, from little street gangs in LA, Philadelphia and Miami to the heavy hitters like the Asian Triads, Italian Mafia, Russian Mafia and the Columbian Cartels.....

The illegal items like cigarettes, drugs, music & video CD's and DVD's, imposter designer clothing and counterfeit money come in on container ships, and pass through customs with a quick bribe to an underpaid, overworked customs officer by a Korean Diplomat, then quickly get distributed through the network of criminal gangs, each seeking their piece of the pie.....

For most of the year Kim Jong sends out his troops to collect the bellflowers in bloom, (white bellflowers) or poppies, the vital feedstock for opium and heroin processing. The collected bellflowers are brought back to Reamong Pharmaceutical, the Korean owned government controlled company for processing into drugs to ship overseas...

On the north side of North Korea's capitol city is Dongyang factory which take Korean tobacco and produces counterfeit Marlboro, Benson & Hedges, Newport, Mild Seven and other top brand US tobacco names for import into markets around the world.

Also on the south side of the capitol city is Kosanbong factory, which is stamping out phony CD's and DVD's of music and movies for distribution around the world.

In the late summer of 2005, Federal Agents in 2 undercover stings in California and New Jersey arrested several members of a Chinese Triad, with $4 million dollars worth of unusually well produced counterfeit $100.00 bills. The Treasury Agent in charged is quoted as saying " There is no way a bank teller in the United States, let alone overseas, would be able to tell these notes as forgeries."

In the trial that is expected to start later this summer, one of the people charged, foreign national from Taiwan, Chao Tung Wu, is quoted in his deposition as saying, "The super notes were produced by the government of a country identified as North Korea."

While the world sits back and worries about Kim Jong and his nuclear build up, places import and export restrictions upon him and North Korea, he is building up a billion criminal empire. Tony Soprano would be proud of the student he did not know he had !!

North Korea's nuclear build-up just a smoking gun while a billion dollar per year criminal empire is run right under our noses....

Something to think about !!~~!!

Just one man's opinion. As always, put the wind in your hair and keep the sun to your back. Be good and stay safe. Peace, Love and prosperity to all.

Good Journeys !!!
