Norwich City V Bristol City

James Kent
Snow may be hitting Bristol hard, but fortunately, the match is in Norwich. It should be an exciting attacking game of football with both sides in good form. Bristol City has won four out their last five and Norwich is enjoying a four match unbeaten run.

Last time out Norwich held Wolves to a 3-3 draw and Bristol City beat Charlton 2-1. After, such a strong performance against Wolves, Norwich might be encouraged to go with an unchanged side. However, the side that was played against Wolves was specifically designed to stifle the league leaders. Therefore, it would not be suitable in an important home game.

That said, I don't think mass changes are needed. David Carney was very impressive from the bench, so I would expect him to start the game. I don't think there will be any unnecessary changes. Ryan Bertrand is a slight injury doubt, which may give Adam Drury another opportunity to impress. Mark Fotheringham will have to settle for a place on the bench at best due to the impressive form of Darel Russell.

Up front, Carl Cort can expect another run out. However, the pressure is on Jamie Cureton with two costly misses on Tuesday night. Especially now Norwich has McDonald and Killen in the building. Jamie though should get another chance with the aforementioned players still building up match fitness. Bristol born Cureton will be up for this one especially after playing for Bristol Rovers.
