Norwich to Host Coventry City

James Kent
Norwich City goes into this tough looking fixture against Coventry knowing three points is a must. Survival is now the name of the game and it seems likely that Norwich will have to do most of the work at home. Now for me Norwich will need around four home wins and Coventry must be one of them.

That is not to say the game on Saturday will be an easy game. Coventry has been in good form in both the league and the cup. However, one piece of good news is that former canary Leon McKenzie will be out injured. There will be no such reprieve for David Bell, as the man who started the season as a Norwich player will likely be on the left flank.

Bryan Gunn doesn't have too many problems. So he can get on with picking the best team for the game. At the back it will be a choice between Grounds and Bertrand for left back. In the midfield the likes of Russell, Carney and Gow may be set for recalls. And up front it's a choice between Cort, Cureton, Killen and Daley.

My Team:

Marshall

Bertrand Shackell Doherty Otsemobor

Hoolahan Clingan Russell (C) Croft

Cort Cureton

Subs:

Nelson (GK)

Grounds

Gow

Carney

Daley

Prediction:

I think this will prove to be a tough game, but Norwich will win it and the reason being is because they have to. Coventry will hopefully be dreaming of the FA Cup and that could play into Norwich's hands.Norwich has quite a good record against Coventry and I am hopeful they will come away with a 2-0 win. Cureton will open the scoring and Daley will get his first senior goal late in the second half.Norwich City goes into this tough looking fixture against Coventry knowing three points is a must.
