Norwich Must Use Home Advantage to Win Against Clarets

James Kent
There is no doubt about it Norwich are in a scrap for survival. This is something most of us have known for some time but it really was confirmed by Norwich dropping into the relegation zone this week. Everyone connected with this great club knows it is all about survival now. The Canaries, now has 13 games to prove they're good enough.

The quest starts on Saturday with a home game against Burnley. It's a tough game to start off with, but Norwich has played its best, football against the top sides and Burnley have played their worst football against sides near the bottom. One thing that might play into Norwich's hands is the fact that Burnley were in action this week. They even needed an injury time equaliser, so Norwich should be the fresher side.

Bryan Gunn knows that good performances are no longer good enough and all that matters are the results. After the disappointing result against Preston changes are expected. The good news is Gunn will be able to welcome back Sammy Clinghan and Ryan Bertrand. I think it's time we use two wingers, so Hoolahan may have to settle for a place on the bench.

My Team:

Marshall

Bertrand

Shackell

Doherty

Otsemobor

Carney

Clinghan

Russell

Croft

Cort

Cureton

Subs:

Nelson (GK)

Hoolahan

Killen

Gow

Grounds

Match Prediction:

I am hoping for a strong performance from the Canaries on Saturday. However, unless we catch Burnley on a really bad day I can't see us winning the game. Therefore, I am predicting a 1-1 draw for this one.
