Nostalgia Buffs Will Enjoy Ferndale Woodward Dream Cruise Weekends

The Dream Cruise weekends are held within a 16-mile radius of Oakland County, which includes the City of Ferndale, where this event actually got its start. The Dream Cruise weekends were the brainchild of Nelson House, who in 1994 was trying to think of a way to raise money to build a children's soccer field. He remembered the fun teenagers and young adults had "cruisin'" along Woodward Avenue and decided to bring back that nostalgia as a fundraising event.
