I was more than a little tickled to see a Republican Congressman from Oklahoma who voted or is going to vote in the affirmative for the Debt Ceiling. Prior to that I was thinking that most of the GOP were voting against the Presidents Debt Ceiling Compromise which will probably be finalized no later than tomorrow August 2nd. Then my merriment turned to disgust when I heard Congresswoman Michele Bachmann discussing the non-truthful fact that South Carolina opposes the President plan to raise the Debt Ceiling. She also mentioned a couple of other states...I wonder if she lied about them too in opposing the Debt Ceiling. She definitely is in "left field" when she generalized that in a blanket statement SC opposes the Presidents compromise. I would have preferred her to say more truthful that most people probably here do oppose raising the Debt Ceiling but I am not one of them. So Mrs. Bachmann keep your lies to yourself. By the way Senator Lindsey Graham from this state of South Carolina also opposes the Debt Ceiling bill. He told "Greta" that last night. At around 1:00 AM in the morning. Greta told him tongue and cheek he had better get on the phone and get some support from those who feel the same way. Senator who said 'if you liked Senator Strom Thurmonds politics then you'll like mine!' News-flash I hated Strom's politics and I wasn't too crazy about the person either. So Colonel Graham save your phone call. This soldier could do without your yammering or whining. By the way maybe you ought to pin some rank on "Greta" she seemed to have pinned your ears back in that psuedo debate on her show last night. While you maintain you will vote against the Presidents Debt Ceiling. Greta stated that the head of the Senate Armed Services Committe is voting for it and with the President. Your a lawyer so stick with that. The Chair of the Armed Services Committee seems to have a better handle on what would be good for all branches of the Armed Services. So when I hear you on WVOC Radio in South Carolina on the Keven Cohen show I hope most people will believe half of what they see and none of what they hear from you!
