September 12 marks a special day for me. It was on this day in 2007 that I joined something amazing. Where else can a nobody like myself chat with a psychotherapist for less than $60 an hour? Mechanics, history buffs, scientists, lawyers, artists, teachers, musicians, sales people, theologians, doctors, tech geeks, politicos, nutritionists, and merchants all contribute to AC content. I doubt there's a topic someone couldn't learn about here. Mistakes might be made here and there, but heck, I've found bad information on other sites, too. At least AC does make an effort to pull harmful content. There's really too much for one guy to learn here. I need a third brain.

Next to fatherhood itself, Janet, I love you more than anything else in my life. Who knew that joining AC when I did, would not only help me through one of the darkest periods a man can see, but I'd end up meeting you? I'd heard a ton of stories, and suffered through more than a few sappy movies, on the topic of the reality of love. I just wasn't willing to see the truth about it, until you reminded me to love myself, too. Were it not for AssociatedContent.com, I'd likely have chosen to die miserable, and alone. I'm glad I joined, more than anything, because of you.
