This is not a poem about confusion
It's not about the difficulty of figuring things out
Or even how to translate the complexities of any given dialect
A poem that isn't about blank stares or facial expressions
Not even about the perplexities of being in a relationship
Or even being out of one
I must say that right now, confusion is farthest from my mind.
This poem never deals with insecurities
Or feelings of not knowing what to do,
A poem not about the heartaches within the human soul
Nor the events that cause them without any guilt at all,
A poem not about uncertainty
Or rendering the unknown,
I apologize for not covering all the bases
No, this is a poem not about confusion.
