As jeans have become more acceptable for many casual and dressy occasions, trendy designer jeans can be found in all the stores. Many of these designer jeans are focused on the teen and twenty-something fashion trends. One brand of designer jeans that includes styles for older consumers is Not Your Daughter's Jeans. This line of jeans includes a range of sizes and styles for almost any body type with many figure friendly cuts, styles, and fabrics. As the name implies, Not Your Daughter's Jeans, goes beyond the fashion trends of skinny, low-rise, and distressed, to provide stylish flattering jeans for a wide range of ages and lifestyles.

One of the features that many consumers like best about Not Your Daughter's Jeans is the subtle reshaping you see when wearing them. Not Your Daughter's Jeans are constructed to provide a lift in the seat of the jeans. They also have a crisscross panel in the front to provide a tuck in the tummy area. These jeans contain more spandex in these areas to provide that extra lift and help the jeans keep their shape as you wear and launder them. Many women feel these unique features give the wearer an improved shape and sleeker silhouette.

One of the reasons Not Your Daughter's Jeans work so well for most women is that they are designed to be worn at the natural waist allowing the tummy tuck feature to work. You will not find any low-rise jeans in this clothing line. Most styles of Not Your Daughter's Jeans have a front rise of 9" to 11". Despite the fact that this style has been dubbed "mom" or "grandma" jeans in the past, many women are finding the extremely comfortable fit and stylishly slimming look of these jeans are overcoming that perception. Older women who dislike the low-rise skinny styles popular with teens are flocking to more adult styles like Not Your Daughter's Jeans. This line avoids the flashiest of the teen trends, yet they are stylish, attractive, and flattering enough to avoid the dreaded "mom jeans" label.

Not Your Daughter's Jeans come in straight leg, bootcut, wide leg, flare, and even skinny leg for consumers looking for the lift and tuck feature who like the skinny jeans trend. The line also includes a trouser jeans with a tab-front closure, small coin pockets in the front, and faux welt pockets in the back. These jeans have a crisp sleek look appropriate even for some office settings. There is also a tuxedo style that features subtle rhinestone detailing along the side seam for some evening sparkle.

Not Your Duaghter's Jeans come in misses, petite, and women's sizes. Misses sizes run from size 2 to size 18 and have a 33" inseam. Petite sizes run from size 0P to size 18P and petite inseams are between 28" and 30". Women's sizes run from 14W to 24W and have a 32" or 33" inseam. Not Your Daughter's Jeans come in many colors and washes including classic blue denim, indigo, black, gray, eggplant, and brown with over-dye, resin, and raw denim finishes. Not all styles, colors, and finishes come in all sizes. There are a limited number of options available in petite and women's sizes.

Not Your Daughter's Jeans can be found at high-end retailers like Macy's, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, and Lord & Taylor department stores, as well as many independent fashion retailers. They can also be found online at many stores including Amazon.com and Zappos.com. The regular price for these jeans is between $90 and $120 per pair but they can sometimes be found at discount prices at outlet malls and at some online retailers.

The increasing versatility of jeans in the fashion world has made a good pair of jeans a necessity for most women. The hottest teen trends however, leave a lot of women with unflattering or inappropriate choices. Not Your Daughter's Jeans provide fashionable stylish jeans in cuts and styles that flatter almost any figure while avoiding the teen trends of low-rise and distressed.

Thanks for this info. I'll definitely be looking into this once I have money for clothes. In the meantime I'll pass it on to my mom.

Thanks for the info! I have a friend who is 10 years younger than me who always insists I wear the teen styles, but am uncomfortable with how low the waist is. I'm going to have to try these!

I love the name of these jeans! Technically, I suppose they could be called "mom jeans" but with the way they're styled, they're anything but!
