Bob Dole is Fighting Pneumonia and Dick Cheney is Hospitalized for Chest Pains
Former Vice President Dick Cheney has undergone a variety of procedures to keep his ticker in functioning order. Dick Cheney has undergone a quadruple bypass surgery and two artery clearing angioplasties. Dick Cheney had been treated for atypical fibrillation in 2008 on two separate occasions. The story of whether Dick Cheney's chest pains indicate another heart attack is a story in progress. Hopefully this is not a fifth heart attack for our former second to the Chief in Command.
Another member of the GOP party, Bob Dole, Former Senate Majority Leader from Kansas and the Republican candidate for president during the 1996 election, is currently hospitalized recovering from pneumonia at Walter Reed Army Medical Center located in Washington, D.C. Bob Dole also underwent surgery on his knees recently. The 86 year old Bob Dole is said to be past his struggle with pneumonia and is resting while continuing to work from the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. The strong minded Bob Dole intends to return to work as soon as he is able to walk. Bob Dole has been hospitalized currently for a period of about three weeks.
No matter what the political party one belongs to, I am sure we can all say we wish these two important politicians of our era the very best in recovery.

I must confess when I heard Cheney was in the hospital, I exclaimed, "Die, Darth Vader, die!" I know, I'm horrible.
Sadly, we are all getting older and we'll hear more of this...Cheers.
