For the devoted coffee drinker, a summer of iced tea offers just doesn't make the grade. Everywhere you go, someone is offering up tall cold glasses of iced tea. It just doesn't hit the spot for those of us with the coffee addiction. The next time you have a coffee addict friend over to your house; try surprising them with a cold drink, made just with them in mind. The recipe can be made to your taste and needs; with sugar or sugar substitute, or without any sugar for those who prefer. You can also use whole mike, skim milk or anything in between depending on personal preference. For dessert, a shot of liquor and some whipped cream can dress up this recipe.

Ingredients

- ½ cup of French roast or espresso coffee

- 4 cups of water

-1 teaspoon of grated orange peel

1 ½ cups of skim milk

- Tablespoons of sugar or sugar substitute

-Ice cubes

-Orange peels

-Grated semi sweet chocolate

Make a pot of coffee as you would usually, but add one teaspoon of shredded orange peel to the coffee. Poor the coffee into a pitcher and add the sugar or sugar substitute. Then add the milk. Make sure the pitcher is heat-resistant so that it won't crack when you pour in the hot coffee. Then place the pitcher of coffee in the fridge to chill.

Fill 6 glasses with ice cubes and poor the coffee over the cubes.

Garnish with orange peel strips and grated chocolate.
