Cooking Tip #1: Mix in a few things
Ramen may be ramen, but the beauty of ramen is that it's so neutral in taste that it can mix with just about anything you can think of! I personally would go with the classic of putting cut-up boiled eggs into the ramen, or perhaps some Steak-ums or skirt steak as well. Heck, go nuts and incorporate things like marshmallows, soups, etc. This is also useful as a nice leftover tip, as you can mix in some chicken, turkey, ham, casserole, or whatever you didn't have from dinner last night. If you have something you think would taste good, feel free to say something in the comments!
Cooking Tip #2: Incorporate Ramen into your main dishes as a side, or even the main course!
Who said ramen had to stay as a quick food? ramen can easily become a great side dish for your dinner! Anywhere pasta can go, ramen goes too! It's a quick and simple addon that can mix in with other favorites like lasagna, casseroles, to things like enchiladas and sushi! Let it be a quick way to arrange an impromptu cooking side to your meal.
Cooking Tip #3: Who said it had to be just "ramen?"
Going off of tip #2, there are also ways to even make ramen into casseroles, lasagnas, even desserts! All sorts of tasty and weird dishes can be made from this cheap economy dish, and some actually do sound like they would taste good! A common idea: Incorporate Parmesan cheese into ramen. I'll have a link to a cool cookbook on ramen later on.
The point is this: It doesn't have to be a drag to be eating only ramen. It can taste great when you work it the right way. All you have to do is get those creative juices in the pan, and away you go!
