There Are More Options Than Mouse Ears and Tee Shirts

Souvenirs are a must when visiting Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando, Florida. Monogrammed Mouse Ears, tee shirts, and Mickey and the gang stuffed animals abound. We all are guilty of buying them. But, why not add something new next time? Disney offers other gift and collector's ideas, like Mickey soaps, jewelry, kitchen gadgets, and even Christmas decorations.

Basin, located in Downtown Disney and inside the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa offer products for the bath and body. Mickey soaps can be purchased, and they come in a variety of scents, like lavendar, melon, and vanilla. They are sold by weight, and usually run betwen $6. and $8. a bar. Candles, bath crystals, and bath bombs are offered, as well as soap dishes, sponges, and lip balms. These make wonderful teacher gifts, house sitting gifts, or stocking stuffers.

Did you ever think about buying jewelry or a purse for yourself in Disney World? Uptown Jewelers in the Magic Kingdom offers charms in sterling silver and 14kt gold reflective of Tinker Bell, Mickey Mouse, Cinderella's carriage, and Winnie the Pooh. Watches, necklesses and earrings are also available with your favorite, Disney characters. Dooney and Bourke purses are sold throughout Walt Disney World Resort properties too. They are darling, and come in at least 5, different styles and designs, including some with brightly colored, Mickey heads, and Disney icons.

How about spicing up your kitchen with a Disney cooking utensil, coffee mug, or pot holder? Mickey's Pantry, located in Downtown Disney offers everything for the kitchen you can imagine with your favorite Disney theme. Teas, coffees, and candies are offered as well. Get gummies shaped like Goofy, Pluto and Donald for your kindergartner's, best friend, or a coffee mug with one of the Disney princesses on it for your babysitter.

If you are making a stop at Epcot, why not bring home candy or cookies from another country, located in World Showcase? Each country offers goodies exclusive to their culture. Try rice candy from China in the Mitsukoshi Merchandise Store. You can actually eat some of the wrappings. Try biscuits and candies exclusive to the United Kingdom at The Tea Caddy. Lastly, why not indulge in some German delights? Visit the Germany pavillion, and bring home butter cookies, almond biscuits mix, or the original Gummy Bears?

Finally, shop for Christmas decorations at Disney's Days of Christmas Store, located in Downtown Disney. Have ornaments monogrammed for a favorite teacher, or have one dated as a remembrance from this, last trip. Advent calendars can be purchased, as well as stockings, and garlands. All are designed with Mickey and his friends in mind.
