Novel Definition of Heat Treatment

A large company is on a recruiting spree.Various positions need to be filled up. One ingenious employee sees an opportunity to push his favorite, Jonnie, to a job in the company. The candidate is working as a cook in an open kitchen. He has ten years' experience.The employee's friend prepares a job specification on his behalf. It reads as follows:

"Wanted a skilled worker with ten years' experience in handling various heat treatment equipments consisting of ovens and stoves using gas and coke".
The interview takes place. The candidates are tested and Jonnie is selected. One of the members of the Interview Board asked how a cook could be selected for such a post which required knowledge of welding technology and welding experience. The answer was "he is the only one having the requisite qualification with hands on experience in heat treatment."
