November 2008

Jean Davis
Autumn is here once again.

Just inhale the cool crisp air.

We get up to frosty mornings.

The grass is shimmering like diamonds everywhere.

We're already into November, thinking Holiday season ahead.

Some are trading Thanksgiving recipes.

How to cook the turkey and pumpkin bread.

Most of the stores are decked in their Christmas finest with

A small section of Halloween and Thanksgiving décor on the side.

There is something special about this November.

It is election year for a new President.

A part of the United States' freedom and pride.

I hope you prayerfully vote for a candidate, your civic duty to fulfill.

There are also other candidates to choose to fill seats on Capitol Hill.

When November 5th dawns and the votes are counted, a clear winner is announced in the news.

Throughout all the campaigning there are so many different views.

By January when the new winners are sworn in, we'll know some of the changes to expect.

No matter whom we supported in the past these new leaders deserve our respect.

Remember, God is still in control, no matter what we do or say.

Get out and vote if you haven't already and rest easy on Election Day.
