The staples of the holiday season abound in Providence. Food and wine tasting events, special shopping events, music and theater bring the excitement of the season to you. I've made a list and you should check it twice before making your plans. Perhaps take someone to a show in November as an early gift. Maybe enjoy a night of classical music as a respite from the hustle and bustle of holiday preparations. Find an unexpected gift or discover a treasure trove of new haunts for your everyday life. Whatever it is you want, need, or desire, can be found in Providence.

    Ah, Providence. The only place I've ever been mugged. BUT then a very nice teenage boy also came to my rescue. I really did like it there, overall.
