November Memories

Things on My Mind I Would like to Share

Mrs.Rogers
Most people think silently and not out loud or on paper. I prefer to share some of my memories, and thoughts during this Thanksgiving season and November month. I like many others take this time to be thankful for what we have or who we have, and like most we cherish the time with family and friends. I too cherish my time with family, and I tend to dwell on things that most might not, things that mean something to me. I hope while reading you will reflect back to your own life and some of your thoughts during this time of year.

I would like to start by writing about things I am most thankful for. Some are things that we take for granted and some are special. First I am thankful for the family I have been blessed to have. I love them all, and would not imagine my life without them. They are like yours probably all coming with their own share of problems, blessings and challenges. I have two daughters who keep me on my toes, and one son who is a image of me. He is smart and sweet, as are my daughters. I always get complimented on their behaviors and I am a proud mother. They keep imagination in my life, and a quest to do better in what I am. I think they are talented, cute, and crazy! I am thankful for a chance to be their mother and to influence and give them skills so they can achieve. It is my greatest task.

I am thankful also for a loving and complimentary husband. There is not a day he does not tell me how beautiful he thinks I am. He always says he is lucky to have me and this makes me smile. He is a loving dad, and with that it means the world. I was lucky to find someone who would stick it out with me. I feel fortunate to have met, married and loved this man, for this love is worth all life's treasures. When you find someone who loves you and accepts you for who you are, hold on to that, and never let it go.

I am thankful for everyday things as well. Things like breathing, walking, and being capable to do what I want, are very important to me. How many times I have noticed someone with a handicap and I have felt sorry for them, sorry that they could not do whatever they wanted to. Yet, somehow the handicap adjust, they cope and they go forward. This is something we all can learn more about.

Thankfulness can be for things we have not had yet, things like a chance for something, a dream we keep, hope that will not give up. I am thankful for all these abilities , ones like, the ability to choose for myself, the capability to dream, to hope and to endure. These are not taken lightly and I cherish that.

Pets are such a comfort to me, I am thankful for all my babies. Pets make us smile, they are great to snuggle with and they are some of our closest friends. I adore mine, and am thankful for all the love they give me, unconditionally. Thank you, Snoopy, Josey, Annie, and Jesse.

Thankful for my house, my car, my money, my husband's job, my clothes, the food on my table. I am also thankful for a chance to write on the world wide web, and share all my passions, thoughts, and reviews. I am so thankful to the people who actually read anything I write. So "Thank You. "

Foremost I am thankful I can choose to follow, worship and believe anything I want to. God is something I believe, worship and talk to. I feel for me God has given me anything and everything I have had. I believe without God there would be no reason to carry on, to love, or to laugh. So "Thank you God, I am eternally grateful."

Whatever you are thinking of, whatever you are thankful for, believe in, or otherwise, I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. God bless you all.

Being a mother of three lovely children. I love to write if it will help others, and if it is read and enjoyed by others. Writing is like therapy for me. When I write my emotions come across and I believe...  View profile
