Now that Craigslist.org Is Going to Charge $25 for Job Listings as of Monday, Adding that to the List of Non-free Ads:
Let's Compare the Well Known Craigslist.org, To the Not so Well Known Adsforfree.com, Which Is, and Has Always Been, All Free!
Let's compare the well known classified ads site to the not so well known http://Adsforfree.com , which is, and has always been, all free!
• At Craigslist, the ads are database entries, that appear on the search engines briefly, under related searches, then disappear just as quickly
• At Adsforfree.com, the ads are permanent, optimized WebPages which can be edited, renewed, maintained indefinitely
• At Craigslist, you cannot edit or change the ad once it is live, at Adsforfree.com you can
• Craigslist is bigger than Adsforfree.com, getting much more traffic because of publicity; however, since many more competitive ads exist on Craigslist, the actual response in some instances can be better at Adsforfree.com
• Craiglist's business plan involves charging more and more for the ads
• Adsforfree.com's business plan is to never charge anything for the ads: they will always be free because they can be (like radio and TV)
• Craigslist started out as a free ads site, but no longer is
• Adsforfree.com always will be.
Adsforfree.com is a little known resource on the web; a profitable business based on giving something away for free for ever (like Google) where revenues are derived from display ads, not classified ads.
Eventually, everybody will find adsfofree.com, and they may forget Craigslist; just like they forgot classifieds2000.com when they started charging after being bought out by Microsoft; the Internet link exchange when they started charging after being bought by Microsoft!
When are the bean-counters who take control of and ruin these great services going to get it: the Internet is, and always will be about FREE!
