No-Wash Hairstyles

There may be times you're in a hurry to an outing, a date or another event and you don't have time to wash your hair. No need to worry. There are a number of no wash hairstyles you can do on your own.

Here are a few no wash hair styles you can try.

A classy sophisticated updo. If you have long hair, try an updo as your no wash hair style. If you have medium or long hair, you can start by putting your hair in a ponytail. Separate the ponytail in five sections. Spray each section with setting hair spray and curl it with a large barrel curling iron. For an extra touch, use pearls on the end of a bobby pin to dress up your hair and help secure each curl in place. Use a few more hidden bobby pins to keep the hair secure. Spray your curls with holding spray. You can do a side swept bang for added drama.

A messy bun. You can use a messy bun for an event or for your day look. It works well whether you have straight or wavy hair. You can create a messy bun by putting your hair in a loose pony tail. You can use an elastic band to hold the pony tail in place in the back of your head. Use a mirror if you have to to make sure the ponytail is perfectly centered. Create waves by using a curling iron for a few seconds on several sections of hair. Pin the curls loosely to your scalp and then loosen things up for a messy look.

A high ponytail. Bring our your girly side with a high ponytail. You can create this no wash hair style by gathering your hair at the top back of your head and holding in place with an elastic band. If you have curly hair, use a hair straightener to straighten the hair. Choose an elastic band that closely matches your hair color so you don't draw attention to the band. If that's not possible, you can take a section of your hair and wrap it around the band to hide it and tuck it under to hold the hair in place. You can wear a high ponytail with or without a bang. If you choose to do a bang, a centered bang looks best to balance with the high ponytail. If your hair is long, pull the bang to the side of your face.
