I remember getting my own N.S.I. Magic Rocks - Treasure Chest when I turned ten years old, and being absolutely in awe of it. It just brings back so many memories. Twenty years later, with my third child, I am still enjoying the N.S.I. Magic Rocks - Treasure Chest. I got my son the N.S.I. Magic Rocks - Treasure Chest on his eight birthday because I wanted to give him a toy that differed from the usual video games he has been receiving lately.

The N.S.I. Magic Rocks - Treasure Chest is reasonably priced, safe and is interesting to play with.

The N.S.I. Magic Rocks - Treasure Chest includes rocks, a plastic pirate chest figurine, growing solution and display tank and a model. The N.S.I. Magic Rocks - Treasure Chest works by putting the colored stones into the display tank and arranging them to your liking. Next, he growing solution is poured onto it and in ten minutes, beautiful crystal formations in multiple colors are formed. The N.S.I. Magic Rocks - Treasure Chest features crystals that grow in various heights (up to four inches) and various formations as well. My son was in awe the first time he saw the N.S.I. Magic Rocks - Treasure Chest grow into a beautiful "garden".

The N.S.I. Magic Rocks - Treasure Chest display tank measures two point six inches by five point eight inches by eight inches. It is the perfect size for displaying on your child's bookshelf, study table or bedside. The only problem with the N.S.I. Magic Rocks - Treasure Chest is that the rocks grow so fast, and after that, the thrill is gone. All you can do now is look at the tank and admire the rocks. In the past, the rocks would take at least overnight to grow. Nevertheless, the N.S.I. Magic Rocks - Treasure Chest is still a fun toy. There are other variations of the N.S.I. Magic Rocks sets, there is the N.S.I. Magic Rocks Shark which has a shark figurine and the N.S.I. Magic Rocks Titanic which has a "Titanic" ship figurine. The N.S.I. Magic Rocks sets are reasonably priced between ten to twelve dollars.
To ensure best results with your N.S.I. Magic Rocks - Treasure Chest, make sure you mix the growing solution really well so that the rocks will grow upwards and not sideways. Make sure you also scrape or file the surfaces of the rocks that come with the set so as to expose un-oxidized rock surfaces.
