If anyone should have the opportunity to work from home, it should be the disabled. They need it more than anyone else. It is very difficult for disabled people to find employment due to transportation and other issues, so working from home is one of the best opportunities they could have. NTI works with VR counselors in order to find work from home employment opportunities for the disabled.
NTI doesn't just find the jobs they also train people to do the various work. Most of the jobs are customer service and clerical but they also have technical, transcription, and even the rare data entry jobs available. Many of the companies NTI have worked with are well-known, stable companies, including the government. There are absolutely no fees and you can work either full-time, or, if you want to keep receiving your disability benefits, you can work part-time. Most jobs are part-time but you may be able to work for more than one client and some of the hours available are very close to full-time.
Let's look at the various positions they offer.
All the jobs require high-speed Internet and you will need to pass a criminal background check, but you will not have to pay for it. The first positions are customer service work, which involves taking inbound calls for various clients. You will need to be computer literate, be able to type at least 20 wpm, and a headset is also necessary. NTI will provide any special equipment necessary for this job. The customer service work pays a little over $9.00 an hour and the hours are between 15-35 hours a week.
The next position is transcription. You will need at least two years experience as a medical transcriptionist. Next is a quality control position, which involves monitoring customer service calls. You will need a customer service or call center background and will need a computer with Windows XP and 512MB RAM. The company also offers from time to time data entry work and clerical work. Just complete an application and if they contact you they will match your skills with what they have available. They do seem to get in contact with applicants fairly quickly.
Some of the jobs will pay hourly, while others may pay per record, entry, line, or per minute it all depends on the available job. The company also hires bilinguals, so if you are bilingual I would suggest you could also apply for a work at home job with NTI. One last thing to mention is that most of the work seems to be pretty consistent. This is a perfect opportunity for those who are disabled and would like to work from home, make a decent income, still receive disability benefits, and feel productive.

Post a CommentI worked for them for over 5yrs. It is only Parttime for many contracts. I worked up to 15 hours per week. You do get paid like any other job. Yes they do charge the state a hefty training fee for the few hours that you are trained. And you do get paid a lower rate for training It was about the same amount I made my first year as a partime worker year round. You have alot of teachers popping in at you while you do your orders and almost always someone listening in. You also get told one way by one and the opposite by the other so it is migraine heaven and of course its stressful but it is a job. Your computer your printer your phone your bills your supplies may not match up to what you make.
There is a company called NTI Central the works with people that have a Ticket To Work. You can always call your State Attourney General or Better Biz and check up on them.
10/19/10 I just spoke w/ Social Security & THIS NTI CENTRAL COMPANY IS NOT A PROGRAM OFFERED TO S.S. RECEIPENTS BY SOCIAL SECURITY. CALL S.S. TO FIND LEGAL JOBS SO YOUR BENEFITS ARE NOT DISRUPTED.
SCAM..................................
please explain to me where i can apply to find work from home since i have depression and have no job
i would like to apply
Actually, you are paid to train for the jobs with NTI ... but customer service or technical support requires a certain temperment and a clear speaking voice. Have to be able to think 'on your feet' so to speak... and be able to maneuver or 'toggle' as they call it between multiple windows while talking to the customer and following procedures that are outlined for each job.
The last time I checked, NTI had a total of five jobs. I have aphasia, so I'm UNABLE to do telephone work, which all of these jobs were. I do wish that someone would have a viable job for a person with a disability designation, because my life depends on it. Of course, this is where the scammers go. It is so easy to scam the disabled.
it is normal to get turned down at least once for disability. stick with it, save all medical reports, etc. and you will need a lawyer. If you didnt work long anuff , try to find a job that you can do for long enough . your husbands or wife's income should not matter, this about YOU. God forbidthat anything happens, but this whole procedure is a strain on good marriges and finding yourself disabled, in pain, etc can kill a relationship. I have been married for 33 years and 5 years ago it almost ended ours. It is a uphill battle to get disability, and to find a job that you can do. Remember, you didn't ask for this and you have a right to work if there is something out there you can do. do not try to do something you know down deep that you cannot do for long or that will make your condition worse. It is easy to get desperate and to fool yourself into thinking you can when you know deep inside that it is the wrong job for you. good luck, mike

NTI charges your state to hire and train you. You are not paid during training. The jobs are temp and part time. They require much and deliver little!
