Nuclear Power is Green Since When?

Since We Asked the Color Blind

LarrWayne Po
Radioactive waste only hangs around
For a little while.
Perhaps for just a hundred years.
Calm down now,
No tears.
That's better than it used to be.

I see.
You've made progress.

Yes,
Now are you happy?

It is progress for us.
Maybe we can bankrupt
The dirty old coal miners
And their industry.
Then we will really be green.

Who wins you and me?

Not necessarily,
Unless you buy stock
In nuclear power.
Buy it now
And chalk up.
Did you bring your money?

The builders of nuke plants
And sellers of electricity,
Are the winners A to Z.

When will customers
Get their discount?

C E O's get paid first.
Are you new in town?

I heard nuke plants
Cause acid rain.

You complain too much.
Under perfect conditions
This doesn't happen.

So I should just take a nap then?

I think we need to be sure to not build any new nuclear facilities on a fault line - the ones in California weren't very wisely located. rcj

95% under idea conditions and in dreams, doesn't account for the huh oh situations. When things get bad, they can get real bad. I'm not for shutting down existing nuke plants, but enough is enough.

How about neon green...I think there will be more "fall out" from this for years to come.

Japan and other countries recycle 95% of their used fuel by putting it back into the reactor and it is used again. This is why there are claims that nuclear power is by far the most green energy source out there.

Fatal flaw: Because we CAN invent it, we DO.

I don't know about nuclear power - I only know that when you are energy hungry (like the world is!) you will eat anything! cheers
