Review

I enjoyed the Three Cheese Pasta With Chicken. It was easy to make (I used the microwave). The meal was very tasty and I enhanced it by pouring it over a bed of steamed broccoli. Some times I will pour it over mixed vegetables. As with most Nutrisystem meals, the food is easy to prepare and that's important when you're a busy parent with a spouse and two boys. It's nice not to have to count calories as it can be hard to cook something for myself while making something else for the rest of the family. It only takes a few minutes to cook up in the microwave so be careful not to overcook it.

To compliment the Three Cheese Pasta With Chicken, I had a glass of water with lemon. The tart lemon balances the three cheeses.

Unfortunately when you add in the vegetables, the cost of the meal is more then the $3 that Nutrisystem claims on their commercials since. But when compared to a fast food meal, it's more healthy, tastes better and costs less. Compared to a home cooked meal, the cost is comparable and the portion size ensures that you do not overeat.

As with most meals, you want to maximize the enjoyment of eating it. Be sure to make it in a bowel and not leave it in the cup it came in. When done, enjoy the meal at a table instead of sitting in front of the television on the couch. Also take your time and eat slowly. I use the pause between bites to discuss my kids school day.

Overall Rating (1 Worst - 10 Best) : 9

I would order the Three Cheese Pasta With Chicken again.
