Not only can you save a ton of money by taking a lunch box to work, you can have a more nutritional lunch that isn't offered at most restaurants. Taking a nutritious lunch box can be easy! You can do your shopping for you lunches as little as once a week depending on what you take. Not only will you be eating healthier, and saving lots of money but you will feel better and most likely end up losing weight by taking a nutritious lunch box to work. Here are some nutritious things to add to your lunch box

Snacks

Fresh Vegetable

Light Crackers

100 Calorie Packs

Rice Cakes

Small amounts of cheese

Yogurt

Low calorie and low fat baked chips

Celery and peanut butter

Apples and cinnamon

Nutra Grain bars

Your favorite fiber enriched cereal

Jell-o

Low calorie snacks

Granola Bars

Slim Fast Shakes

Fruit smoothie

Main Coarse

Lean Cuisine Dinners

Weight Watchers Dinners

Grilled or baked chicken

Grilled or baked pork

Grilled or baked beef

Turkey

You favorite sandwiches with little or light mayo and wheat bread

While there are several more things that you could choose from these are only a few. Choose your favorite foods that are easy to prepare, easy to reheat, and will keeps taste. Keep in mind that when taking salads you may want to put the dressing on the side and add it to your meal when you are ready to eat it. Same for tuna. Purchase lunch box size freezer packs this will keep your things cool so that it won't melt or spoil. Remember that when you are packing your lunch you may need to use microwavable containers. This will eliminate having to bring additional dishes. When taking sandwiches, to avoid squishing your bread, try finding containers that are the same size of your sandwiches. This will make them easier to pack as well.

Taking nutritious lunch is a great way to start a better lifestyle. You will be left feeling better, and getting healthier. Not to mention the few pounds that you may shed!
