Nuyu Frozen Yogurt a Sweet Surprise in Folsom California

If you have ever been to Folsom in the Sacramento area you will know that one thing that Folsom has lots of is places to eat. One of the most popular foods seems to be frozen yogurt. While some of the popular frozen yogurt places like Tasty Time have gone out Folsom still has a high number of frozen yogurt shops. One of the more popular ones is Nuyo Frozen Yogurt. Having lived in Folsom so long I was surprised to find Nuyo but the reason I was unaware of Nuyo was that I live in the "older" part of town that was built in the late 90's and early 2000's while there is almost an entire city that has been built since in the new part of town. It seems you know one part of town or the other but few know both well.

Nuyo frozen Yogurt is located at 2750 East Bidwell Street suite 300 in Folsom, California. Nuyo is not like your usual frozen yogurt. Nuyo is like a high class frozen yogurt which fits in well with Folsom. For instance there are Big LCD TVs that play music videos. While you may expect an more upscale and trendy place to cost more especially in a place like Folsom Nuyo is actually cheap.

Nuyo is one a frozen yogurt that lets you add whatever toppings you want with how much you want. This is becoming popular. I do not like paying by the weight for frozen yogurt but when you get your own toppings it does not bother me as much. Also if you are cheap like I am you probably do no usually get toppings. However if you do tend to get toppings then this is cheaper because you get a better price for the toppings.

Nuyo is unlike any other yogurt place because of all the odd and unique flavors they offer. Some of the flavors give you no idea about that they are like such as the "halo halo style." Others flavors like acai tart are flavored after things you may have heard of but are exotic foods you may not have had before. If the acai tart was just called acai being a fruit I would expect it to be sweet but it is tart. They also have lots of choices for those that are lactose intolerant which does not affect me but if it affects you it is nice to be able to have some yogurt for once.

Nuyu is very popular and while it has a large younger crowd it also tends to have a good number of families and single adults around as well. Nuyu is a recent and pleasant surprise to me. I plan to go back to Nuyu soon. If you live near you should plan on coming too.
