NY Jets 2010: Too Many Scandals to List Including Brett Favre, Rex Ryan, Shaun Ellis and Sal Alosi

NY Jets Coach Rex Ryan Sure Knows How to Run a Bad Boys Team - and Particpate in It!

What do Rex Ryan, Brett Favre, Jenn Sterger, Sal Alosi and Shaun Ellis all have in common? The NFL and 2010 scandals, that's what. So if you thought NFL football was about sports, it appears that isn't the case for the NY Jets.

And if you thought the NY Jets coach Rex Ryan is the only ne'r do well with the NY Jets outfit; think again. More and more stories are surfacing on the World Wide Web about the men who lead and play for this NFL football team, and it ain't pretty.

NY Jets assistant coach finedand suspended

ABC News reported mid-December that the NY Jets assistant coach Sal Alosi purposefully stuck out his knee and tripped Dolphins cornerback Nolan Carroll.

Dolphins ended up winning anyway in a 10 to 6 game against the Jets, and fortunately Carroll wasn't hurt, but the intent merely belies the seediness that the NY team appears to embrace throughout 2010, starting with NY Jets coach Rex Ryan's finger display at a Dolphins fan in January.

NY Jets assistant coach Alosi was fined $25,000 for the act and suspended for the remainder of the season and could only give this comment in response to his actions, according to ABC, "Your asking me to give a logical explanation for an illogical act. I can't do that."

NY Jets player sued for attacking Seahawk fan

A week after the NY Jets assistant coach incident, TMZ reported that Jets player Shaun Ellis is being sued for a 2008 attack against a Seattle Seahawks fan with a snowball.

TMZ reported that the lawsuit alleges that Ellis was miffed the Jets lost to the Seahawks and stopped to pick up a large block of frozen snow, then hurled it into the crowd of fans who supported the Seahawks. Ellis' snowball hit a Seahawk fan named Robert Larsen.

Video coverage of the act can be seen HERE, but the fact that a NY Jets player would attack anyone in any stand is just another example of how out-of-control the Jets are becoming, even as early as 2008.

NY Jets coach gives Dolphin fan the finger

The New York Post called attention to their town's own football coach bad boy earlier this year when he flipped off a Dolphins fan and ended up fined 50G.

The Post pointed out that Rex Ryan didn't just talk with his finger, according to the Dolphins fan who caught the coach in the finger-flippin' act on camera. Rex also delivered his own version of conversation first, saying, "Go f--- yourselves." You can see the picture HERE.

The recent outing of Rex Ryan and wife Michelle's alleged foot fetish videos--and the dating site profiles advocating "sexual torture" partners and "threesomes" merely lends credibility to those who claim the NY Jets coach Rex Ryan has sunk to the gutter and may be taking the team down with him.

NY Jets employee Jenn Sterger still seeking justice

NY Jets' prior football star Brett Favre might not still be with the team, but his behavior in 2008 is making Jets news this year.

Favre admits sending voicemails to NY Jets' in-house reporter Jenn Sterger in '08 but denies the penis pic she says he sent.

Sterger told the NFL that she wouldn't sue them or the Jets if they would banish the bad boy to the history books, removing him from being a threat to other women--and a punishment for being so to her.

NFL head honchos have yet to decide a course of action against Brett Favre, leaving many on the fan side of football to discern a distinct implicit approval of his actions and an unwillingness to take him to task, since he is a valuable product they might wish to see marketed further.

Note to Jenn Sterger: You may need to take it to court in order to ensure other women--and Dolphins fans...and Seahawk fans...and--who knows who else, stops having to experience the ugly side of NFL's NY Jets.

NFL's handling of the NY Jets leaves a lot to be desired if you ask NFL fans, as the organization appears to be dropping the ball left and right throughout 2010.

Yep--they cheat and they are poor examples of sportmanship and class.
