Nylabone Dura Chew bones are not only something to keep your dog occupied, they will provide healthy chewing. Many breeds have a tendency to chew what they find. However, once they have used the Nylabone, they claim it as their own and seem to know just where it is when they want to chew something.
There are products on the market similar to this Nylabone Dura Chew that are edible. The product referred to here is not edible, however, it is safe for your dog to swallow small bits of this bone. It is recommended that if a dog bites off more than bits the size of rice, the chew bone should be replaced. However, we have found these chew bones last for months.
An advantage to providing a dog with a Nylabone Dura Chew is that the dog's teeth are cleaned as they chew. This is especially important for all dogs that eat only soft foods. However, all dogs can benefit from having their teeth cleaned daily by chewing one of these Dura Chews.
These Dura Chews are available in specialty stores that exist to provide products for your pets as well as through some other retailers. We found that sizes are available for all dogs, from petite dogs to extra large dogs. The prices began at $2.99 for the smallest at the store where we made our purchase.
Nylabone non-edible Dura Chew products are plastic, rubber and nylon. The product insert warns that if a dog swallows a large piece of the product you should consult a veterinarian. However, the product package states the chews are vet recommended.
We found Nylabone Dura Chew products to be the answer to bored dogs that may otherwise damage household items. The dogs seem to enjoy spending time attempting to destroy the Dura chews, not an easy task. The price was perfect for an item we see will last for several months.
Nylabone Dura Chew bones may also be an important product for dogs that are overweight. These products will not add to the caloric intake of your dog, and may help you keep the pet at the correct weight. The dog is provided with the entertainment of chewing, and perhaps this helps keep it satisfied without having an additional helping of dog food.
