O. J. Simpson Found Guilty on All 12 Counts in Nevada, Las Vegas

Mary E. Coe
After deliberating for approximately 13 hours; the Las Vegas jury found O. J. Simpson and Clarence Stewart guilty on all 12 counts.

The charges included: armed robbery, kidnapping, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, conspiracy to commit a crime, conspiracy to commit robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, robbery with the use of a deadly weapon, coercion with the use of a deadly weapon, and burglary while in the possession of a deadly weapon. These are just some of the 12 charges

On September 16, 2007; O. J. Simpson was arrested and booked on armed robbery and kidnapping charges.

Ricco set up a meeting with collectors under false pretense that he had a private collector interested in buying Simpson's items.

Ricco, then, called O. J. Simpson and told him about his stolen items that were being sold by certain collectors. Clearly a set up and Mr. Simpson fell for it.

O. J. Simpson told associated press that he did not call the police because they were unresponsive to him.

O. J. Simpson and five other men entered a Las Vegas hotel room to get back items that Mr. Simpson said were stolen from him. At least two of the men were armed with guns. Mr. Simpson was unarmed.

Friday, October 3, 2008; a Las Vegas jury found O. J. Simpson and Mr. Stewart guilty on all 12 counts.

I really do feel sorry for OJ. His fall from grace was classic. This man could have been so much to so many but the glitz of celebrity and bad choices got in his way.

Great report Mary...I don't think that O.J. Simpson could ever get a fair trial anywhere. Too many people are convinced that he is a cold-blooded murderer who got away with it, and they have been hounding him ever since. I don't have any pity for him, he is a stupid man. I feel sorry for his kids.

    O. J. Simpson's codefendants; Charles Ehrlich, Charles Cashmore,Michael McClinton and Walter Alexander were allowed to plea bargain; they pleaded guilty to a much lessor charge of robbery. In return they testified against Mr. Simpson at his trial. They were, also, accused of entering that hotel room with guns to take back memorabilia that belonged to O. J. Simpson. Yale Galanter, Mr. Simpson's lawyer said Mr. Simpson will appeal based on jury selection. He said that they all had a fixed opinion of Mr. Simpson.
