O' Mystical Moon

Donna Thacker
O' mystical moon that floats in the sky
I stand with arms upheld for all to see
In solitude with tears brimming from eyes
O' mystical moon how do I please thee
I fear naught the darkness of a lone night
Your beams they calm and ease my aching heart
'Tis but the morning that will cause my plight
For in morning my dreams they do depart
O' mystical moon I reach up to you
With a heavy heart and a head bowed low
O' moon a sign, a sign of what to do
O' mystic moon why do you torture so
Uplift my soul with you're mystical light
Awake my heart on this, your magic night!
