O2GOD: Designer Clothing with a Message

O2GOD. At first glance you might not understand the meaning. If you break down the name into three parts, O, 2, GOD, it will make sense. Jerome Boatright is the developer of this business. He thought of this idea in 1999. Jerome has been a volunteer mentor for youth in churches and at juvenile detention centers. He has been witnessing for God by using the slogan "O2GOD". When he was asked what it meant he would simply tell people everything he had he owed to God.

The reaction he received from people was a positive one. He decided to bring his message to the youth by designing this line of clothing. It was geared towards the youth in the beginning but now has grown to all ages and races on a global scale. The new O2GOD collection is being presented at national events. With the purchase of each piece of the O2GOD collection comes the confidence to walk like Kings and Queens, and a daily focus on gratitude for all that is given. The logos on the clothing all have different meanings. Below is a breakdown of each image.

Eye - INSIGHT! The O encircling the 2 is representative of an inner
eye; that of the soul that sees and knows Everything is owed to God.

"E" - INFINITY! A ring of Es appears in both the King and Queen Crests, and symbolizes:
Everything we are
Everything we have
Every day we live
Every breath we take
Every opportunity to give or experience love

Shield - PROTECTION! The shield is a symbol of armor covering the heart and spirit.
It is embedded with the Eye, and bears the crown of our King.

E-Link - EVERLASTING! An unbreakable link of focus and acknowledgment that we
gird ourselves with as a constant reminder of our belief.

Eye Chain - COHERENCE! Embodiment of focus, values, and faith; believers uniting in
the harmony of the Kingdom.

King Crest - REGAL! A crest designed with a King in mind to symbolize his power, strength, confidence, and influence.

Queen Crest - ASPIRE! A crest designed with a Queen in mind to symbolize her beauty,love, strength, and grace.

O2GOD sponsored the Sallie Mae Fund 10K race in Washington D.C. this past May. The race benefits the DC College Access Program (DC CAP), a non-profit that helps local public high school students gain access to a college education. Sales of O2GOD COLLECTION will also enable the formation of O2GOD Special Delivery in late 2007, a non-profit entity that will respond to community needs with a focus on children and youth, and effective parenting programs.
