Obama Administration Stumbles Along Aimlessly

A simple click on the Drudge Report bookmark in my browser can be so enlightening. In so doing I get an overview of the various days headlines it might not otherwise have had.

When Obama assumed the office of the presidency gasoline was selling for a national average of $1.81 per gallon and today gasoline is about to trip the $3.00 mark. That is not to say Obama is necessarily responsible for the entire rise, but with OPEC's not upping production and Obama's continued moratorium on some Gulf drilling, these facts only serve to exacerbate the situation. As long as we don't drill OPEC has us where they want us, so why not keep production low to drive up price and enrich their Middle Eastern butts, right?

Perhaps another sterling example of misguided effort and more than likely purposeful destruction of the US is Attorney General Holder's assuring the Muslim community of the his DoJ making sure Muslim's are not discriminated against. Gee, is it me or does this seem odd? Has there been an explosion of hate crimes against Muslims living in the US? I musta missed it cause this is the first I'd heard of any potential problems here. In perhaps one of the most shining examples of American Exceptionalism, even right after 9/11 the number of acts against Muslims has been minimal to seemingly non-existent. That's not who we as American's are, yet one would not know that from the DoJ's focus.

By now most have seen the video of Clinton upstaging a distracted Obama in the White House briefing room. Did ya see the look on Obama's face when Clinton said he didn't want Michelle mad at him for keeping Obama from whatever more pressing event he'd scheduled? Priceless...simply priceless! Once again Obama shows us his firm hand on the wheel as the ship lists to port (that's to the left for you nautically challenged). It was only Obama's presser in the WH briefing room, but since Obama is such a stellar manager, he can delegate, so he headed off to the WH Christmas party and left Bubba to sell his tax compromise.

And to be sure the head cheer leader job is still his, MSNBC's Chris Matthews informs us "this is the alliance made by God and the Democratic Party" is intact...ya know, the alliance God arranged between Obama and Clinton. Well, glad to hear good old God Himself is on Barack and Bubba's side. I wonder if I should get my pal Chris Matthews those new knee pads for Christmas this year...ya know the old ones have got to be worn slam out, what with being on his knees to serve, or service, Obama's whim 24/7....

Yeah, I'm just glad Obama is everywhere all at once. He has his finger on the carotid artery of the nation for sure. Is he merely taking our collective pulse, or his amateur medical status putting us in danger of him cutting off our circulation and perhaps killing us...by accident and all, ya know? Sorta makes one wonder, don't it?

Is he just so inept as to be a joke or is he and his administration really intending to do all the asinine and otherwise inexplicable things they do? Is Obama a joke? If so it's a damned surreal one. As each day rolls to the next and I see what I see, read what I read and hear what I hear, I am more convinced then ever that Obama is just stumbling along aimlessly, ineptitude and perhaps intention leading the way.
