Richard Trumka was asked in a meeting "How often do you get to have conversations with the White House?" to which Trumka replied "Conversations or be at the White House?" followed by nervous laughter. Trumka then replied "I'm at the White House a couple times a week...two, three times a week."
Then Trumka clarified "I have conversations everyday with someone in the White House or in the administration, EVERYDAY." What a wonderful turn of events for all Americans, no?
Trumka, leader of the largest confederation of labor unions in the US is a regular...in "daily" touch with the Obama Administration. Whew! Glad Obama and Tumka are joined at the hip...I was worried the 300 plus million American's needs would trump the needs of the AFL-CIO members, but based on Tumka's words, I guess I have nothing to worry about.
It's comforting to know that to Obama the tens and tens of millions of Tea Party members are "tea baggers" as he has called us, but the AFL-CIO representing about 11 million workers takes precedence over the wants and needs of an entire nation. Who couldn't have seen this one coming, right?
Barack Obama is not the President of the entire United States. He is the POTUS that has zero interest in anyone not involved in progressive politics or an ardent supporter of labor unions. Obama is more aligned with union leadership and their Marxist principles than he is with the citizen's of the nation that foolishly elected him.
Union principles are not the principles of this nation. Union principles, in general, speak to selfish positions about getting all they can, even when getting all they can puts their very lives and jobs in jeopardy. As we can see in Wisconsin, public employ unions are so selfish they refuse to give any ground at all even when the result of their position will cause the state to go bankrupt and EVERYONE of them would lose their jobs. Does THAT sound mature? Intelligent? A well thought out position? NO! But it does sound like a selfish and petulant child, doesn't it?
Keep in mind that unions as Obama supports them are not good for America. Recall the Auto Worker's unions getting .85 cents on the dollar of their promised value in stock, while private citizens and other corporate stockholders got less than .10 cents on the dollar. Obama is helping his friends and supporters and letting the rest of the nation swing.
Obama is like a rat in the pantry. He's there to raid the goodies for him and his pals and to enrich them in effort to cement their power, but he's not interested in actually leading a nation. I even heard yesterday that Obama is so dis-involved, disinterested and "hands off" that he has 6 cabinet members that he's NEVER had a private meeting or private phone call with since his administration began. That sounds more like a man too busy with his own little plans to deal with his job he should be doing for a nation.
I am truly embarrassed by my president. He is laughed at all over the world and clearly for good damned reason too. He's a joke, his administration is a joke and under his leadership, this nation has become a joke. Why then am I not laughing? Can this clown be impeached, convicted and sent the Hell back to Chicago in the deserved disgrace and shame he and his actions call for?

I've no problem admitting to catching Rush, sometimes. Oddly enough, I find myself agreeing with him, more often than the opposing viewpoints. Although I don't always agree with him, I really disrespect the attacks some make on the guy. For all the talk about "civility" and "not being judgmental about appearances," his opponents do a lot of "fat jokes." Funny thing is, he's not that big, anymore. He's actually in pretty decent shape for his age.
Don said "disthresthpecthful." Do you listen to Limbaugh sometimes Don? Sounds like a perfect imitation of his imitation of, as he calls them, the "new castrati!" Oh, and no worries if ya don't admit you listen to ElRushbo on occasion...after all, if one admits to that they are forever ridiculed and defamed and you are far too honest a good a person to have that befall them.
Jimbo, Great Article, and observation – Obama does not “Really†care about the small business owner, or non-union worker, Bottom line – Union dues support the election campaigns for Dem’s - Take a look at this website and follow the campaign money. http://www.opensecrets.org/orgs/list.php?order=A
They'll never admit it, or maybe they're just incapable of higher thought functions, but these union thugs have got to go. I'm so tired of these myths that business-people are "the enemy." I'm so tired of the Liar-in-Chief. If that's too "disthresthpecthful" for some people, too bad.
