Erica Werner, Associated Press writer, has posted an article titled, "House leaders push toward health vote by Easter." The fact that it is only three weeks away is nothing compared to what I think is amazing news.
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyers said they (the Democrats) would like to get the decision regarding health care reform made by Easter but then made the most amazing and stunning quote I have ever heard. It reveals just how wrong and asinine Obama's approach to this situation really is. Hoyer said, "At this point in time we don't have a bill. It's a little difficult to count votes if you don't have a bill."
How can Obama talk about discussions that have been made about something that does not exist? Obama wants, at least from his own party, blind obedience.
In other words people who are in office after running for office because of the decisions of voters weighing their value as lawmakers, are supposed to turn their backs on voters en masse to be loyal to the party when they don't know what they are being loyal to.
Obama has requested an "up or down" vote. There is a reason for that. He wants to remove the ability of the Republicans to filibuster. It is one more swing at Democracy.
People laugh when you use the term Socialist in the same sentence with Obama's name. But I think he is every bit as dangerous as any other "power-hungry" leader.
Barack Obama has decided what is best for "the people." Even though the voters have let it be known they are not happy with his methods he moves forward. He is looking to put the cost on those least able to adjust and that is the elderly and the young. And the saddest thing as I said is that he expects blind obedience from the "party" that he is working hard to isolate as the only party with a voice.
Who or what does that sound like to you?
Is Barack Obama working for America, or for Barack Obama? His actions speak for themselves.

Post a CommentWhy did the House Majority Speaker say there was no bill--because there isn't.
Obama and his methods are a joke and a smack in the face to every American-you're seeing what you want to see-not surprisingly.
The House has passed a bill, the Senate has passed a slightly different bill. Now all that remains is for legislators to reconcile the two bills. This is what is taught in any basic US Government class. Of course the President wants it finished up soon, he's given the GOP every chance to participate, to no avail.
