The President Has Done Everything He Could and is Planning to Do Still More. The GOP Tried to Block Him at Almost Every Turn. Maybe They Will Come Around. But the President Can Win Regardless
Provide tax cuts for businesses that hire someone who has been out of work for at least 2 months
Help businesses to invest in their future by permitting them to write off investments in equipment this year
Encourage job creation by expanding investments in schools and clean energy projects
Maintain investments in roads and bridges"
Low lucky we to have the President
A Clinton might have folded neath the blare
A Carter might have had hurt feelings there
But our Obama never quailed or bent
This completes my posting of ten unsung achievements of President Obama as a small effort to push back against the media's proclivity to concentrate on conflict and ignore actual accomplishments that make a difference in peoples' lives. I am grateful to the Organizing for America Blog for having called attention to these stellar achievements that we may not have known about.
