Obama McCain
Just like Pinky and the Brain
They want to RULE us
Just like Pinky and the Brain
They want to RULE us
Ain't it such a shame?
Are they evil or insane?
Trying to FOOL us
To them it's a game
Both guys claim to feel our pain
Attempt to COOL us
Feel the budget strain
Flush more money down the drain
Fleece and DE-WOOL us
Obama McCain
The destination's the same
Downward they'll PULL us!

I am doing a backlog catch up of your stuff and am now addicted. This one ke-racked me up! But my favorite thing, honestly? Your description of the piece. "I thought this one up at work today. Meh." "Meh" killed me! Yeah, a new fun writer to read.
Yes - I fear whichEVER of them is elected (although I fear Obama more). Good job!
Really related to the "one party" idea here, that most, if not all, American politicians are not to be trusted. Very creative and apropos of the current political state of affairs in the good 'ol USA. Nice to know original thoughts are still being created out there!
NICE! And a belated congratulations.
This is so good! I love it. I've printed it out to share with my husband. Thanks. :-)
Cute, great poem :) Sheri
Congrats! Well deserved win! I completely agree!
Congratulations brother! Well deserved.
Right on! Same train, same tracks, regardless of which engineer we pick. Time to build tracks to a new destination, 'cause these are going straight into the mountain side and there ain't no tunnel!
