Obama Says Brown's Election is a Reflection of Anger Against Bush?
Well at Least We Can Get a Good Laugh Out of the Latest Spin from Obama
Well he did say that it was latent anger against the establishment and incumbents and that just happens to be Bush
Obama doesn't seem to understand that HE is now the establishment, HIS tax and spend and spend and spend policies are what has everybody fired up. Can he not take responsibility for anything? Well ok, he hasn't done that much but he has at least riled everybody up.
It's also crazy to think that people are just being anti-incumbent as well. Why? It's simple Martha Coakley was not an incumbent! The incumbent here was a Democrat!
Well ok, maybe it was just more of "Blame Bush"
In a way it is sad to see Obama settle into the realities of the differences between running for office and running the office. Blaming Bush may have got him elected but it's not going to keep him there and it's not going to make things any better.
Here's why we should really be afraid, very afraid
Other than the fact that Obama clearly is either delusional or thinks we have are dumb as rocks we need to be very afraid of what the democrats will do next- focus on the economy.
Up until now the complaint has been that Obama has broken his promise to fix the economy and instead focused on his liberal agenda such as health care, cap and trade, etc. Now we're hearing all the democrats saying "we get it" and they all want to focus on "fixing the economy"
So when was the last time we saw the democrats "fix" anything? We've all seen them create problems that they offer to solve later (like this one) but what have they really made worse? Sure Clinton rode a great economy but that was set up in the eighties with Reagan's policies. Clinton didn't actually do anything to help it.
So what's going to happen?
The democrats are going to try and find new creative ways to "fix" the economy while still expanding their power. Of course in order to get anything done they will have to create urgency. That urgency will mean bad press for the economy which is only going to make things worse. In case you didn't notice that is how they got Obama elected and they seem perfectly happy to keep going back to their old play book.
If they do get their "fixes" in I'm sure they are only going to make things worse. How much more money is Acorn going to get? Well at least that may result in some people "pumping" money into the economy but I don't think that is the type of job growth we really want to encourage.
Maybe we'll get lucky and they will just shut up and stop spending our money, wouldn't that be nice? In the mean time why don't we all book a trip to Boston to say "Thank You"
