Obama and the Tea Party

David C. Atkin
The tea party gathered at the mall on the white house on Sept. 12, 2009, to protest tax hikes, and Obama's health care plan, the staff at the white house call the people at the tea party a few radical Americans, but I don't call almost two million people a few.

The White House staff said that these people didn't represent true American people, I'll tell you something, I consider myself to be a true American, and had I had the time to join the tea party I would have, but time and cash flow restraints put an end to my joining the tea party.

I am extremely opposed to Obama's form of heath care reform, I don't like anything that he's doing, I guess that makes me a racist, and just another radical that doesn't represent a true American, a person who is really concerned about their country.

I really can't understand how Obama has spent more money in the first six months of being in office, then Bush did in his entire eight years, now I realize that Bush done a few things that we could have lived without, but at lease he's not a socialist.

I take offense to the fact that Obama refuses to post his health care reform bill on the web for that Americans to read, I resent the fact that he goes all over the world apologizing for the so called transgressions of the United States.

Maybe it's time for us to stop all of the help that we give those countries that Obama keeps apologizing to on behalf of this country, maybe it's time to make them see what it is that we do for them, it's time to look out for number one, it's time to look out for our own country.

We need to quit allowing them to steam roll our constitution, we must stand up for our rights, it's time people, it's time to be Americans again, it's time to stand up for your country, it's time to make a difference, it time to save our country from the impending doom.

Your not a racist just because you have an opposing view from the president, your not a radical because you want to stand up for your country, your not a gun wielding nut because you want to defend our country, and it constitution, all this makes you an American.

You should be concerned for your country, you should not want the United States to be a socialist state, you should love your country, and the same as you'd do with your family if it were in danger, you need to do for your country, you need to help it not to implode.
