There seems to be a majority of people who are just unsure that Obama is up to the task of getting this country back on track. He seems to be bowing to both parties, trying to be everyone's friend and by doing this, he is unable to get anything done. Is everything Obama's fault? Not even close. A lot of this trouble with the economy and job loss was started with Bill Clinton and that lovely NAFTA thing. If our jobs had not gone over seas so people would work for peanuts, we would not be here now. While I doubt Bill Clinton would ever be man enough to admit that he has a hand in the destruction of this country, the numbers just don't lie.
Am I slamming the democrats? I don't believe so seeing as Bush junior is just as much to blame as Clinton is. Bush was not smart enough to see that NAFTA was a ticking time bomb and since he was not bright enough to understand, he backed NAFTA and allowed it to stick around.
As we can see, it has nothing to do with either party alone; it is the whole government that is a mess. None of these walking talking suits in the white house have any clue as to what needs to be done to get things back on track in this country and sadly, we the people are going to be the ones to get the short end of the stick. Actually, we are already flirting with the end of the stick so in reality we are going to be the ones with the stick where the sun doesn't shine soon.
Obama may not be a very good president but then again, who in history really was a good president anyway? When was the last time you took a moment to reflect on this and say "boy that so and so was a great president"? I am going to guess you have never said that and if you have, you are probably sitting in a padded cell somewhere in a mental facility that the government spent ten trillion dollars on for paint.
This country is in bad shape and I do not think it all started with Obama. Will he be able to fix the problems we have now? I highly doubt anyone can.
