Obama Will Not Release Bin Laden Death Photo

Snidely Whiplash
It was just announced mere minutes ago that President Obama will not release the photos of a dead Usama bin Laden. Why? Is it because as Obama says "he's not a trophy?" I beg to differ. He is indeed a trophy...the most wanted quarry in the world is most assuredly a trophy. His head on a platter is something the world needs to see. Frankly though in the age of Photo Shop even a picture isn't worth a thousand words anymore.

First we hear releasing his dead ass in photo form might inflame the Muslim Street. Ya mean like the Abu Grahib photos? Like those? Wasn't our hypocrite president all for seeing all those photos in the public eye? That was said to inflame Islam like little else and he wasn't queasy about releasing them at all - transparency and all that rot ya know. Obama wasn't too worried if Muslim's would be unhappy then was he?

And we can't be concerned the photos might be too gory to release, especially for the Muslim population. The killing of the American contractors in Iraq, hanging them from bridges, filming it and showing that all over the world didn't seem too gory for Muslims. In fact as I recall they screamed "Allah akbar" as the gyrated like fools infected with St. Vitus dance. Remember the joy they expressed at the murder of that Israeli family a month or two ago? Offend them? Please.

We don't want to upset Muslims? Why? Will they not like us? Wanna make war on us? Can't have that, can we? Gee, I wonder what might happen if al Qaeda gets mad with us? Will they cheer in the streets if someone knocks down some of our buildings? Oooopps...my bad; they already did that now didn't they?

What about all the Americans who want to see his dead ass? I want to see it for myself, and no, not because I don't believe he's dead...I have no doubts he's quite dead for sure and for certain. I want to see for my own reasons, mostly so I can slobber over the picture and enjoy it. I ain't queasy and if one is they needn't look at the pictures then right? That they show brain matter in the hole in his forehead is no biggie. Roadkill is more gory than that for Heaven's sake.

Look back at the Hitler death. No photos equaled decades of supposition and disbelief that Hitler was dead and didn't make a crafty escape. I mean no Hitler pics; no bin Laden pics? So what am I to assume? Is Usama in Vegas with Hitler and Elvis? And releasing pictures of the funeral on the USS Carl Vinson is proof of what exactly? Something body shaped wrapped in a sheet and dumped overboard?

Why was any respect shown for bin Laden's dead ass? Frankly he should have been put on public display. Lemme tell ya why...Anyone remember the Holocaust? Seen the films and still photos have ya? And still a large percentage of people n the 21st Century refuse to believe the Holocaust was a real and factual event, and Eisenhower even went so far as to have Allied soldiers, media and German citizens line up to view the camps so no one could in future claim it didn't happen and still there are droves of people who for whatever reasons claim the Holocaust is a fabrication.

I believe Obama is engaging in false and totally misplaced political correctness. Usama wasn't a "good" Muslim thus he didn't deserve any respect at all. He was a murderous animal who killed men, women, children, the guilty, the innocent and virtually anyone who did not agree with his aims. Deserving of respect? He deserves to have his corpse shit on and that should have pictures taken of it!

Frankly if it were up to me and in total seriousness I would have transported his body back to the US and put on public display. Sealed him in a bulletproof vacuum plexiglass box, a la Lenin and Mao, and allowed people to come see his dead body for some reasonable period of time. Not to say as a permanent display, but for say 30 days so people from the world over could see for themselves. I would also publish the DNA data as well as his dental records and fingerprints, as these are all known and provable entities.

Instead what have we? A president who wasn't at all concerned if Muslims were mad about Abu Grahib pictures that incensed the "Muslim Street," but now we wouldn't want to upset those who have sworn to kill us. He's "not a trophy" huh? Wrong! He is a trophy. Three thousand dead on 9/11, hundreds in the Embassy bombings, the Bali bombing, the USS Cole and now we need to worry about giving his dead corpse "respect?" If I had been on of the SEAL team members that killed his ass they'd have been hard pressed to prevent me from pissing on his dead ass and taking a photo for posterity. Ya feeling me?

Obama has made a grave mistake and for all the wrong reasons.

How about this: It's all a hoax. Osama isn't dead, it was staged (just like the moon landing) and Obama just kicked off his re-election campaign.

Appreciate your comments Sondra, but let me clarify Madam. I only want his dead ass on display for a period of time to prove to the world, without doubt, that this evil murderer is surely dead, dead, dead. After some reasonable period of time I would favor taking his remains and hauling them to the Mariana's Trench and then weighted and dumped overboard into the deepest abyss on this rock....35,000 feet deep or so. Now, if his sycophancy wished to then go and leave flowers or goats or whatever at his graveside, I would be all for them making the trip to the 35,000 depth to accomplish that goal. Maybe I could open a cottage industry, ya know, shooting them, weighting them and them strapping them and their flowers to their dead asses so I can dump them over and they spend eternity with Usama...I know, don't thank me...I'm just nice like that!

I loved the article and your thoughts but I do not agree with you on that one. Why would you want his followers coming to USA each year to plant flowers on his grave? And why would we want them to come here anyway. This way no one knows where he is, hey h ould have been eaten by a shark by now...Better this way and maybe in fifty years it will all come out

David, your point is right on. The Spetnaz are the deal...when dealing with animals you treat them like animals. WWII would not have been won if we'd have been afraid of "collateral damage" or any worry about if our enemies would be angered with us. Isn't the fact that we are already at war with them a specific enuff threat? To win an ugly confrontation, one must get ugly themselves. Islamic regimes know that the West is concerned with world opinion and the Muslim Street. Kill anyone who points a gun at you or seriously threatens to point a gun at you and amazingly enuff people quit pointing guns at you. It's really rather basic. Our fancy 21st Century sensibilities harm us dreadfully in this fight with animals like these. Give them what they threaten to give us and they will shut up and slink away...happens everytime it's tried!

Our obsession with how Muslims, and the world in general sees us has gone way over the top. I can guarantee you that if it had been the Russian Spetsnaz that had killed him, his photo would've been circulated world-wide within 2 hours of his death, likely with the caption "This is what happens when you screw with us". Not that I approve everything the Russians do of course, but I think we could stand to take a page from them.

  • David Van Edema5/6/2011

"I spoke to several of our military families who have soldiers stationed 'over there' and they said that releasing the photo just might incite those fanatics to start increasing the roadside bombs." Have to respectfully disagree with you on that one, Michele. Keep in mind, a lot of these Muslims get upset over EVERYTHING. Remember what happened when a teacher named a stuffed teddy bear "Mohammed"? Remember what happened when a cartoonist drew a picture of Mohammed with a bomb on his head? How about when that nut preaher in Gainsville, FL simply stated his intention to burn Korans... and what happened after they burned just ONE? EVERYTHING upsets Muslims. If it's not the pictures, it'll be something else. May as well get our money's worth.

I knew I could count on you. That was the most beautiful double tap in history. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

I've mixed feelings about this one, myself. See, burying his body at sea denies his ridiculously dumb-ass followers from ever having a place for a shrine. Yet, I also agree, screw their feelings. Beheadings, bombings, and dancing in the street on 9/11/01 was good for them, but NOW we're to worry about offending these folks? Frankly, I wish someone would invent the bacon bullet. Plug 'em full of pork on their way to the next world.

  • Lorraine Yapps Cohen5/4/2011

I make no apologies, Whippy. I agree with you. Yeah, yeah, I know he's dead, but I've got to see the dead pictures. Whatever happened to "closure"? It's something we need before letting it go. Besides, we incite fanatics by breathing. Showing pictures couldn't possibly incite extremists more than they already are.

Whip you are so right about the 'double standard' of the release of the Abu Grahib photos. Seems the Administration couldn't wait to get them out there.
