Most of us who can see through all the magic, already knew that the health care reform Obama is trying to pass is not what he claims. The speech was all double talk followed with smoke and mirrors to cover up the truth. Well, now comes the CBO, Congressional Budget Office, with their eye opening preliminary analysis and I bet Obama will come up with more fuzzy math numbers to distort the truth.
The CBO report is shocking. Just by reading through Title I of the report, the CBO estimates that the so-called health care reform, also known as Obamacare, would add at least $1 trillion to our federal deficit while only extending health insurance to a net 16 million more Americans. OK...so what about the 55 million uninsured it was supposed to cover under Obamacare? Fuzzy math?
What I found even more scary is that the CBO's estimate didn't include. "The proposal does not include a 'public plan' that would be offered in the exchanges, nor does it contain provisions that would require employers to offer health insurance benefits or impose a fee or tax on them if they did not offer insurance coverage to their workers." Doesn't that statement go against the claims Obama made in his speech to the AMA?
President Obama keeps saying the same thing but it is an obvious bold-faced lie. During the speech Obama claimed once again. "If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor. Period. If you like your health care plan, you will be able to keep your health care plan. Period. No one will take it away. No matter what."
However, just reading the CBO report, they disagree with Obama's claim. The CBO analysis is that while the Kennedy-Dodd (Obamacare) bill would allow 39 million uninsured Americans to receive health insurance, the plan also would kick about 15 million individuals out of the system because their employers would no longer offer insurance. Also, coverage from other sources would decline by some 8 million individuals. All of this and we still have to figure in the "public plan", which will make the numbers worse.
Now I know those who have a cultish adoration for Obama will try to debate the facts with emotions. Its a losing argument. Obama and his Obamacare plan is just another attempt by a liberal to stick the government's crooked hands into the private sector.
Obama and his cronies are single handedly destroying America's free-market system. Yet, due to this cult-like following, few are speaking out or pointing out these facts. I will continue to point out the facts no matter what. That's just how I roll...as the saying goes.
The plan is filled with many things that could've drawn more boos. The "public plan" that Obama wants will deprive millions of Americans the health care they enjoy presently. The plan calls for "shared responsibility" between the employer and employee to pay for health care.
Basically, the "shared responsibility" is a mandate on businesses. Obamacare will punish you if you do not provide health care (Obamacare) for your employees by subjecting the employer to a "tax" should the employer not participate. This regressive tax would directly be shifted to the employee in the form of reduced wages or job losses. More likely, the employer will drop private coverage and go with paying the tax rather than having to buy government-approved insurance. So, play or you will pay...sound familiar?
I'm booing President Obama and his Obamacare because we still haven't heard how all of this spending is going to be paid for. Most who are open-minded know that a tax hike is coming. Obama and his liberal cronies will dance around the tax-hike issue and it is a certain he will be back on television making false statements. He is experienced with this in his short 5 month presidency.
I have many reasons to boo President Obama. I boo him for taking our country down a dangerous road and lying about it. You are being a bully and it all is coming to light. The lies will catch up eventually.
One of the many lies President Obama told during the speech to the AMA was this statement: "What are not legitimate concerns are those being put forward claiming a public option is somehow a Trojan horse for a single-payer system. ... So, when you hear the naysayers claim that I'm trying to bring about government-run health care, know this - they are not telling the truth." Watch and listen Obama fanatics:

If you ever notice during his speeches, Obama always comes out with a negative attack then goes into his own rhetoric to push his plans. Health care is his new goal. The government knows best. BOO!
Of course, Obama claims that if Congress doesn't hurry, it will be a costly mistake. I believe we have already been burned by Obama's rush tactics. Health care is a subject we can take our time with considering that there is no plan to pay for it...well, besides the obvious...tax hikes...BOO!
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out Obama's plans. Force everyone onto a government backed insurance plan and put the private sector out of business. This gives him another entitlement program to tout as his own and allows more government control over our everyday lives....BOO!
I'm going to start a new group, BOO BHO (Barack Hussein Obama). The AMA started the BOO...let us continue doing so with these corrupt and dangerous policies that are being forced down our throats. All Americans should stand up and BOO!
