Obama's Budget Proves He Has No Clue as to Fiscal Responsibility

Snidely Whiplash
Isn't it amazing how our president demonstrates his fiscal responsibility to a nation on the brink of financial collapse? Obama's budget pays little but lip service to the concept of fiscal maturity and acknowledgment of the danger to this nation.

There is a struggle brewing and it is Obama's doing. He knows that he can veto any proposal from the Republican House and more then likely House Dems would not vote with Republicans to override a veto so he has a free hand to continue down the path of destruction he began on January 20, 2009.

Obama knows that despite his ideological wishes, raising taxes does not spur growth or increase Treasury revenues. His 2012 budget is proposing raising taxes on business. That merely further erodes the ability of business to invest and expand thus increasing revenues. No increased business revenue means no hiring, which means continues high unemployment and damned if that does not lead to further recession.

The Obama budget proposes a $1.65 Trillion dollar deficit for this year alone. Add in the slowly being implemented Obamacare aspects that are being pushed despite the Federal judge's ruling Obamacare unconstitutional. Where can this lead? Nowhere good for sure.

Obama's budget allegedly calls for a $1 Trillion dollar decrease in the deficit over ten years. Aren't these the same things we heard about how Obamacare would decrease health care costs? Yet now the CBO admits any savings on paper with regard to Obamacare were a trick of accounting and latching onto false assumptions of growth, etc.

It's like building a house of plastic sheeting. Provided the wind doesn't blow and the rains don't pour down then yeah, it might work - for a while - but in the real world it does rain and the wind does blow. So, do we live in a real world where health insurance costs are rising drastically and especially because of the Obamacare provisions? As the CBO and even many Democrat economists now admit, Obamacare will drastically increase deficits as well as insurance costs, eventually resulting in forcing everyone into the public pool for government provided coverage.

It seems nonsensical that Obama would propose a larger budget deficit given our times, but if one parted with partisan leanings and looked over nearly everything has embarked upon in his presidency, this is just par for the course. How anyone can continue to deny that it seems Obama is Hell bent on financially breaking this nation is beyond my ability to reason.

No matter how much lip service he pays to fiscal responsibility, personal freedom and making a better America, the truth is he is actually bent on installing as much of his progressive agenda as he can. He even admitted to Bill O'Reilly in his Super Bowl interview that he "has not changed" referring to his leftist leanings. All the chatter of running to the center is pure nonsense and political positioning for the 2012 election. It's his media and supporters telling us up is down, black is white and a slap in the face to those with eyes who bother to actually consider what all this means.

Like the entire Obama presidency, the experiment of electing a community organizer to the presidency is an effort at feel good politics. All I can say is I wish I had the guts of Barack Obama. To be able to ram it someone as I smile at them and tell them how I am helping them.

The only conclusion I can reach is that progressives are either just fine with destroying this nation so they can see it torn down to rebuild it in their own myopic and bizarre vision, or they are about as astute as a door. It appears Barack Obama has little respect for this nation, our traditions, our Constitution or our citizens. And he has no hope the US will be the great United States once more.

$1.65 Trillion dollar deficit this year! This is more of the first two years - nothing more. Clearly the election and the messages sent did not mean anything to him. Of course it seems our nation means nothing to him in the first place, so all is good as far as he's concerned.

Actually cutting the budget would be antithetical to his radical left-wing extremism.

Obama is joking. He must be. The man has never operated a business, nor dealt with a payroll, firing someone due to lack of money, nor dealt with taxes. He also calls American business "the enemy."

I was amazed when I watched Obama this morning tell the American People he will cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term, I thought how unbelieveable this President even thinking about a second term of his madness

Just don't tell him what comes after trillion.

I pray everyday that our Nation will not crumble under the weight of this tremendous debt. It's like a roof with too much snow and ice upon it, you have to wonder when all you-know-what will finally cave it in. cheers
