Obama's "Cadillac" Tax - Another Bad Idea

The mere fact that we here in the United States can't provide a right (health care) to our population because greedy slimly financiers have made the health care industry (which includes everything from Healthcare facilities to prescription drug makers) a Top 3 moneymaker and are banking on it to pull us out of this recession; is down right immoral and shameful.

With that said, the latest hot air to come from the White House on how to pay for this phony, no public option, big business filled health care reform is by taxing folks luckily enough to afford top notch quality health care. So not only has the system taken away top notch quality health care for the over 60% not covered or under-covered, our government wants to make it tougher for people who can pay for such care for themselves and their family.

That's what a Cadillac tax is, a horrible name by the way since the company that makes the Cadillac is broke, produces gas-guzzling, break down prone vehicles that this government is feeding our tax dollars too.

It's time to wake up America, elections are just around the corner and if reading the above doesn't want to inspire you to go educate yourself on every politician running in your elections this year, then you should go lie down in the road, because you're already dead.

After learning if they share the same views you do on the topics relevant in your life check them out further, see if their campaigns have donations from a particular industry or lobbying group. If so, examine their voting record again, see if they give favor to those industries supporting their campaign or see if they are independent of outside influence and are truly there doing the People's work.

Now you have an educated vote that you can arm yourself with when voting next election. Voting in politicians that will truly do the majorities wishes is all their job is really about. All this pondering on fancy insurance scams and clever public-friendly tax names like the "Cadillac" plan is just a diversion keeping you and your family from a healthy, prosperous and joyful life.
