Obama's Last Hope = Killing the BCS

Jacob Horn
Scott Brown just pulled off a hail mary in Massachusetts. I mean he hit the game winning shot from 85 feet away with his eyes closed. He kicked the game winning field goal from 72 yards away with an 84 mile an hour wind in his face going toward the Northwest in Paul Brown Stadium. Enought already, you get the point. Health care is going down the drain along with Obama's approval rating. I am here to tell you that there is only one thing that can help Obama at this point.

Obama has mentioned in the past that he would be for legislative action requiring a playoff system in college football. This would be a win-win for the president. For starters, anybody who opposed this legislative action would immediately be burned at the stake by Boise State students, and some Tulane students from back in the day might even join in. If you know what I am talking about in the latter part of that sentence you should King yourself. If you know what I am talking about in the latter part of the previous sentence you are definitely someone with a solid sports background that has a strong foundation established on my previous love for bowl games (see previous blog). Let's get back on point, so Obama Care is probably a no go. Liberals are ticked because Obama is not liberal enough and Republicans are still mad about the entire situation.

What brings people from all races together? What brings people from all religions together? What brings people from both sides of the political spectrum together? College-fricken-football. If Obama could get credit for a playoff system that would be a game changer. It would be a momentum swing of uncalculated proportions. We are talking about Obama carrying all 50 states in 2012, especially the important ones with lots of votes like Idaho. There are a lot of situations where it would not be wise to listen to my council but this is not one of them. This might be the best idea Barrack Obama has encountered in the past year. Too bad I only made it to the second interview for his cabinet position on College Football Affairs.
