The killing of Osama bin Laden. We all remember it. According to reports by the mainstream media President Barack Obama was a calm, cool dude carrying around a momentous secret before giving the decisive order that ended the life of the man responsible for the murder of thousands on 9-11. Too bad none of it is true.
"Today, at my direction, the United States launched a targeted operation against that compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan," President Barack Obama said according to a White House Blog transcript of his speech after the death of Osama bin Laden.
According to a longtime Washington D.C. insider, it was Leon Panetta, not Obama who gave the order, Angelia Phillips reported for Pat Dollard. Obama was playing golf.
"Finally, last week I determined that we had enough intelligence to take action and authorized an operation to get Osama Bin Laden and bring him to justice," Obama said later in his speech.
According to Phillips' source for Dollard, every time military and intelligence officials began making headway toward developing a winning mission strategy, Obama's Senior Adviser Valarie Jarrett would intervene and everything would grind to a halt. At one point, Jarrett had even pressured Obama to abort the mission.
Just as Senator Obama had a habit of voting "present" to avoid the responsibility of making a decision, according to an account by former Navy SEAL, Chuck Pfarrer, President Obama stayed on the golf course so he would be "in a position to disavow" if the raid failed, Daily Mail reported. Pfarrer's information comes from direct accounts given to him by members of SEAL Tex Six who carried out the mission.
"What changed the president's position and enabled the attack against Osama Bin Laden to proceed?" Phillips asked Pat Dollard's inside source.
"Nothing changed with the president's opinion," the insider revealed. "He continued to avoid having one."
"I was told," the insider revealed to Phillips, "in these exact terms, 'we overruled him.'"
From there the insider explained that the president and Jarrett were intentionally kept out of the loop. It wasn't until after the raid was initiated by Panetta's "direction" that Obama was hauled off the golf course and told what was going on. When the president emerged from the briefing his media-hyped "poker face" was more like that of a deer in the proverbial headlights.
It was only then that the bewildered Obama was taken to the situation room where those who were aware and involved in the decision process -- including Hillary Clinton, Bill Daley, Robert Gates and Vice President Joe Biden - were captured in the now famous photo as they watched the operation unfold.
Among Pfarrer's other revelations, as reported by the Toronto Star, the Stealth Hawk helicopter did not crash on arrival but rather as the SEAL team was leaving. It was the reaction to seeing the crash on a monitor, not their sight of bin Laden's dead body, that was captured for posterity.
In the days that followed, the Associated Press gushed over "Obama's remarkable 72-hour poker face." The Independent's Matthew Norman fawned that "no flicker in the eyes hinted at a pending decision behind imminent insomnia" in his slobbering devotional titled, "Obama has shown the world why it fell in love with him."
It was the U.K. Daily Mail that reported "Barack Obama kept military commanders hanging by declaring he would 'sleep on it' before taking 16 hours to give the go-ahead to raid Bin Laden's compound."
In the now famous photo, Obama is most notably seated in the corner of the room -- rather than at the command table -- still wearing his golf attire.
"The president's role was minimal," Dollard's insider told Phillips, "including their acknowledging of his presence in the room."
So what's going on here? Why are the reporters in the mainstream media ignoring these very explosive revelations?
They didn't even admit the photos of his speech were staged until they were busted by news outlets like the International Business Times.
"Once Obama was off the air," White House photographer Jason Reed reported for Reuters in his piece -- ironically titled -- "Ready to Record History", we were escorted in front of that teleprompter" where Obama re-enacted the walk-out and first 30 seconds of his speech."We fully disclose in our captions that this is a re-enactment, after the live announcement," Senior AP Staff Photographer Pablo Martinez Monsivais told Poynter, explaining that it's standard operating procedure. "We put that in."
It's funny though, how the AP forgot to add that little declaimer to their photo in Politico's version of reality. In fact the first time that caption appears beneath one of their Obama Osama speech photos seems to be in that particular explanatory article.
What about the movie? Hollywood has one in the works, curiously set for release just prior to the 2012 elections.
According to Susan Milligan of U.S. News, House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Peter King is worried that the Obama administration might provide filmmakers with classified information to make the film.
The real concern should be whether Hollywood will stick with the carefully crafted adaptation that makes Obama look like the strong commander-in-chief at the situation room helm or tell the true version that reveals Obama was hiding on golf course to avoid making a decision that might harm his reelection chances.

Post a CommentPatricia,
I apologize to you for insinuating that your political affiliations, beliefs, views, opinions, and commentaries were derived solely from estrogen poisoning and void of sound logic. Also to equate womens suffrage with any of the other constitutionally protected rights now under attack by our elected officials was misguided and perpetrated to be mean to you personally for which I also apologize.
Having read more of your work I must agree that it lacks the poor grammar prevalent in many of your colleagues articles and I was wrong to prod your sensibilities with that lame attempt as well. It is awful how much I've come to rely on spell check, and how often I ignore or miss the prompting altogether.
As for violating the commentary guidelines, perhaps you're right, although looking through them I find remarks much worse than anything I sought to post there. The futility I felt trying to express myself there led me, in anger, to lash out at you here in a most unbecoming ungentlemanly manner and for this too I apologize. For the record I do not claim to be a gentleman but have always sought to be polite and fair and admit when I have been wrong.
As for Karma... yeah I'll buy into that when the congress loses out on their pensions and other benefits as you proposed should transpire and transcend their self-appreciating views of their own worth and importance. Karma in my view is little more than Satan fooling some into believing the world is just and fair. We'll reap what we sow in the next life. Maybe mine will suck maybe not. I hope your not offended if it doesn't, nor are overjoyed if it does.
Yes Ron Paul is a nut job, "but it just may be a lunatic you're looking for"
Hope you're Christmas or holiday was filled with love and laughter and your New Year not occupied responding to jerks such as myself or receiving communiques in text type short-hand OMG! . If it is, it isn't Karma, it's life.
Tom -- Allow me to address a few of your comments.
"A Yahoo contributor making issue of someones spelling, now that is just hypocrisy of the lowest sort."
I suggest you look up the word "hypocrisy."
(Feel free to add "making issue of someone's lack of vocabulary skills" to the list of what you consider to be my verbal indiscretions.)
"I take that back. Yahoo turning off the commentary for your "Tin Man without a heart" opinion piece that was of the lowest sort."
They didn't turn it off. There are over 5,000 comments now. Perhaps due to your abuse of the Community Guidelines someone reported you and YOU were shut down from viewing and participating in the conversation.
As for your misogynistic tendencies... that's for you and your Karma to deal with.
A Yahoo contributor making issue of someones spelling, now that is just hypocrisy of the lowest sort.
I take that back. Yahoo turning off the commentary for your "Tin Man without a heart" opinion piece that was of the lowest sort. Defending your political agendas by stammering about grammatical expertise in the company of some of the worlds worst offenders of Illiterate journalism that is just hilarious.
I deny whole heartedly that I hate women, I just wish more of you ladies could decide on candidates based on more than whose babies you would choose to have.
"If ever there were a poster child for the repeal of the 19th ammendment, its you Campion . write something about baking or colanders and such. "
How about you learn how to spell first... then get some counseling to help you deal with that misogyny issue.
Pfarrer's account, contradicted by the "Career Challenged" Washington crowd is one thing to ponder.
The eight month window of no action between the time we were tipped off to Bin Laden's hideout and the actual raid says volumes about the lack of decisiveness by our CinC. Its good he stayed on the golf course.
Jimmy Carter should have done the same when we had the Iranian Hostage Crisis. A lot of American Heroes would have lived longer. But then again, Jimmy may have been reelected for a second term too.
If ever there were a poster child for the repeal of the 19th ammendment, its you Campion . write something about baking or colanders and such.
"This is a fabrication," Nye countered, issuing an on-the-record denial...
Notice how it doesn't say "under oath."
Pharrer's account is "on-the-record" too.
Poor little Burt found someone who said it isn't true... which means everyone else is lying (even though the photo DOES show Obama sitting in the corner of the room wearing his golf attire and Pfarrer's account fits the 16-hour delay time line in Obama's decision)....
I see where Burt also just got his little hiney spanked on a thread about CFL bulbs too.
Now look at him... after giving up that futile CFL argument he's scanning the rest of my articles trying SO hard to get his cajones back... upping my page views and income with every effort to prove SOMEthing I said was wrong.
Careful Mr. Pointy... your insecurity panties are showing...
They have counseling sessions for this disorder you know.
