Obama's Stimulus Package Pork
Electronic Medical Data Base Patriot II?
What is it, you say?
A provision that provides for an electronic data base of citizen's medical records including mental health treatments, abortions, lawsuits and sexual details for service providers which can be accessed on a "need to know" basis and shared between those "needing to know." This provision cannot be "opted out" of by the citizenry, and has all the markings of a Patriot Act II (or III, I've lost count). It appears some in the medical community are behind this provision, and using of course their legislative lackey for this controversial measure which would be fought tooth and nail with little chance of passage if submitted as an independent bill in light of many Americans fury still over some of the provisions in the Patriot Act itself which unconstitutionally remain, so instead have taken no chances in pushing for it to be included within the Stimulus Package as pork. With so many in this country still suffering economically, and the layoff figures increasing by the day due to that fraud of a bank bailout bill which manipulated Wall Street into a tailspin, and most citizens reluctant now to make any new large purchases, it appears the MO is that soon so many Americans will be so desperate, or if they can keep this inclusion under wraps long enough while it is being debated, again the American people will be grateful for the crumbs thrown out, and won't know what hit them when it is announced after the signing on CNBC or Fox - with the proper spin of course, until the left and right line up on sides again blaming the other for inclusion, or the bill's swift passage without any disclosure. Come to think of it, this entire scenario could have been a set up all along to get more and more information on the citizens and their personal lives and records, while appearing to respond to citizens calls for more transparency and open government on the part of Congress and the Executive Office. Seems pretty suspicious to me, especially with the backroom dealing that went on in order to get that first bailout passed, and simply under the auspices of the Secretary of the Treasury, before the American people could become any the wiser. The fog appears to be thickening and the corruption deepening with each and every sound bite and news blurb.

Post a CommentThe only jobs it is creating are government jobs, and that will also come out of your pocket when they start screaming that they need more to continue to provide for those jobs or there will be a massive layoff. They are outsourcing and insourcing so many U.S. jobs now, that the government is creating more government jobs in order to employ the Americans left jobless. Obama's package is nothing more than a method in which to put us further in debt in order to "stimulate" foreign investment and facilitate the One World Government and global economy the banker's want to put themselves on top as emperors of the world. WAKE UP!!!
Are you living in another country, or this one? The "pork" spreads it way on both sides of the aisle. Obama and Biden took just as much in campaign contributions from those banks as the Republicans. This isn't a party issue, it's a blatant Washington federal govedrnment corruption issue on both sides of the aisle. Wake up and get out of your partisan delusion.
*take a good look at Palin and Stevens' Bridge to Nowhere plan to see what real Earmarking is. Paying $400 million to build a bridge larger than the Golden Gate just to transport 50 people is political BS, -not- what this package is planning.
I can't believe the way people are going around saying Obama's Stimulus Package is nothing but "Pork" and "Earmarks." This so-called Pork is nothing less than economic stimulation at its finest, as it helps to create jobs and start projects for local communities to hold occupations for. Building factories for Hybrid Cars and Clean Coal Technology not only creates jobs for those who need to BUILD it, but provides jobs for those who will work in the factory afterwards. Obama's Stimulus Package was ridiculed by Sean Hannity (who doesn't know the first thing about economics) because he believed money was selfishly going towards movie directors and producers to put in their own pockets, when it was specifically targeted for filming to attract local and foreign tourism (Which, by the way, is the main source of income for many cities and states). By the terms as now it is slowly, very slowly being released, it was more of a spending package than stimulus bill, as very little is going to Americans (their own taxes, mind you) in order to "fix" the economy or the mortgage crisis brought on by Congress and the financial sector that precipitated this economic crisis to begin with. It was and is a spending package being presented to the American public as a stimulus....most of the sums aren't even going into infrastructure needs. I'll post more on what is included shortly.
The stimulis package was passed through the house without there ever being a deinitive description of what the bill contains and the consequences, good or bad, that will come from it. The president and democratic congress has merely repeated themselves in saying that this process needs to be swift and by cover of mainstream media they now have most Americans believing that this package is exactly what they need.
