Obama's Wants NASA to Do What? Reach Out to the Muslim World?

Well here's another Obama story from out in space, this one literally. Fox News has an article reporting an Al Jazeera interview with NASA administrator Charles Bolden where he claims Obama has set a new top priority for NASA.

Is it going to the moon? - No

Is it going to Mars? - No

Even further? Nope

Keep reading, you're going to love this! Obama has set NASA's main priority, according to the top NASA administrator, to "reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contributions to science...and math and engineering"

HUH? NASA?

Did Obama maybe think he was talking to somebody else? So we have to scrap the shuttle missions so we can make the Muslim world feel good?

Is Hillary just that difficult to work with? Can we get Dr. Phil instead?
It's been a long time since government class but I'm pretty sure it is the State Department's job to reach out to other countries. I know NASA routinely works with the space programs in other countries but basic foreign relations is not there job. As far as I know, there aren't any government agencies with the mission to make anybody "feel good." How about it Dr. Phil, can you take one for the team so NASA can keep it's focus on space where it belongs?

Ok, so what is this really about? Simple, we have a radical, yet incredibly naïve president who lacks real executive experience and will do anything and everything to advance his agenda. In this case it is abusing his executive position and diverting the resources of agencies not aligned with his agenda to activities that are. As we've seen, Obama could care less about the space program so why not use them to further his agenda of pacifying the Muslim world. On that same note here are a few other things he might try:

Government Accountability Office to establish national gun registration and confiscation program - Obama certainly doesn't want the GAO people doing their job as it will certainly get in the way of his agenda so why not send them after the people with guns? Obama knows how dangerous we are if we have guns so at the very least he'll keep the GAO people busy (maybe even get rid of them) or if he gets luck he'll get all the guns, either way he wins!

DEA goes green by cleaning up national parks - They are out there anyway looking for drugs, why not pick up the place right?

National Weather Service reaches out to the "undocumented worker" population - We've all heard that they live under the radar and are often hesitant to report crimes, well how do we know they are getting accurate weather forecasts??

Fair Trade Commission implements card check program - Wouldn't that be a hoot, make the FTC accountable for making sure big corporations don't have monopoly power but their employees do, won't that be a blast?

Come on, jokes over. Can we have a real President now?
