My family and I left Lake Jackson for the East Coast four months later, and I only went back to visit once. I was amused and slightly perturbed when I discovered during that visit that my birthplace had streets named "This Way" and "Wrong Way." Yet having just spent a year living in Ted Geisel's former dormitory at Dartmouth, I also found it oddly fitting.
Since that visit some 15 years ago, I haven't given Lake Jackson nor my brief Texan history much thought. But hearing about Ron Paul and observing as he quietly builds support is beginning to make me wonder: Where are Ron Paul's other 3,999 babies? Who are we? Where do we live? Will Ron Paul get our vote?
I am asking for anyone who was born in Brazoria County, Texas, during Ron Paul's obstetrical reign to send me a message. Since Lake Jackson is a Dow Petrochemical town, many of us are probably scattered across the country, if not the globe.
I look forward to connecting with Ron Paul's other kids and sharing my results with the world here on AC in January.

Post a CommentI lived in Clute, Texas when I was pregnant with my oldest son. I went to Ron Paul's office to make an appointment in hopes that he would be my doctor. His staff told me that he wasn't taking patients because he was in Washington. His partner, Dr. Pruitt was my obgyn instead. That's still pretty cool, though!
what I really want to know is THIS: did he CIRCUMCISE the male children he delivered? or did he have them circumcised by a nurse? male circumcision violates constitutional and more importantly natural laws not to harm or mutilate someone's body.
Hi! We created this website for people to share their stories. Please come look.
www.RonPaulBabies.com
I would contact dailypaul.com about your search. I believe Ron Paul's grandson runs the site. There are a lot of supporters on that site and I remember 1 or 2 of them saying they were one of his babies.
Also a myspace page "RonPaulsBabies" would be good too. i think the website is a great idea.
Advice:
Make a website called RonPaulBabies.com
And we will spread the words for you.
That'll be wonderful to find those babies. With Dr. Paul helping them to enter the world - they should have turned out great!
The Hunt is ON!!
How cool is this? I've heard Ron Paul say that he's come across a bunch of supporters on his campaign trail that told him he delivered them. I'd be interested to learn the outcome of this little outreach project; I bet it's very positive for Dr. Paul. :)
He may not have been my mother's OB/GYN, and 3 of my 4 kids were born at home. However, I'd like to think that we are ALL his kids. ;-)
I'm just hoping that Dr. Paul can develop a weight-loss program for Uncle Sam.
