Obligations

Diane Zoller-Ciatto
Obilgations

When favors become obligations
And are carried out too far
We work hard and try to please
But just can't reach the bar!

It isn't always easy
To turn and walk away
But when our time is overdue
It has to be that way!

Once the job is over
And our head is ready to clear
The relief we find is elevation
To rise from that nadir!
