Oblivious!

She had lived all her life in a void

A glittering world without shame

Not seeing how none of it mattered

But never impressed, just the same

Angry and sad without reason

Always left wishing for more

Waiting to push 'Self Destruct'

When nothing remained to explore

And so the years passed her by

A meaningless yet painful blur

Until the day he arrived in her world

Until the day he chose her

Everything changed in an instant

As she wept solemn tears filled with joy

As she looked for the first time at love

In the face of her new baby boy.
