I have received my card. It is easy to use and works just like any other debit card you may own. You have an online account where you can view your balance at anytime. There is no charge for POS (point of sale) transactions or to receive money. That's right, it costs nothing to receive money through Obopay. You can also add funds to your card via your bank account for free. However, if the transaction fails, they do charge a $6.00 fee.

Why Obopay? Let's say your child goes off to college or on a road trip. An unexpected expense comes up and they need to borrow money quick. If you have it transferred through Obopay, the money is available, instantly. Money transfers or wires can take hours or even days.
